Were talking about two different things. Dak is the cowboys best player, period. If the entire NFL did a draft Dak would be a top 10 pick and go before any guard went off the board.

The team would suffer the most without Dak than losing Martin. That is a fact.
Dak is the Cowboys most important player, not the best player. See the difference?

NO difference to me. Dak is the best thing this team has going for them.

You want to say that a guy like Parsons is higher ranked at his position? We can agree.

Roseman has what the Cowboys do not have, an owner pushing the envelope continuously. He won't fire Roseman for failing but he would for not going far enough.

It was Lurie behind that whole Dream Team and handing the reins over to Chip Kelly and demoting Roseman.

And it was Lurie behind the whole t shirt thing and having Buddy Ryan take on Johnson and Dallas. Lurie hates Booger and the Cowboys, he is ecstatic to be in the SB, the only thing that would have made him happier was to beat DAL on their way to the SB.

Roseman has built a possible dynasty in Philly and they will own the division for several years.

If Jerry was smart he’d back off the next couple years and let the bad contracts fall off. By the time we can rebuild the Eagles will start slowing down.
A Dynasty? Give me a break. They had a historically easy road to the super bowl. Lane Johnson and Kelce are close to retirement, and their QB is going to go from 2% of the cap to 20%.

It’s almost like a poster on here named CATCH17 said this years and years ago but we just had to pay Zeke and Dak which was always a clear path to being stuck in the middle.
Oh yeah...I remember that guy saying that. He was right about that, but he was a REAL weirdo if I remember.

The easiest way you could could really put yourself on the map is to get a legitimate QB.
Who would you go get

I totally get it. Nothing is a guarantee. I also feel like if you've been doing something a certain way and not getting the desired results, it's probably time for a change. This long term plan, managing the cap for the future, never being players in FA, what has it really gotten us? We've had winning seasons but is having a winning record that never amounts to post season success really worth it?
Well, I think they'd prefer to be in the Ravens mould. Draft well, don't overspend and make a consistently good team. Thing is the ravens have at least made the SB and won it in the last 15 years. They've taken their chance. We haven't. 2014, 2016 or 2022 should have been our year's and we couldn't finish

The Eagles have been in 4 Superbowls in the last 56 years and we got people claiming they are a dynasty that can't be stopped. I love Cowboy fans haha. They are so emotional.
I didn't say they were a dynasty. I said which scenario I'd rather have. They have a GM that is full-time and takes risks and does his job. When he does make a bad contract, he works to get out of it (a la Wentz) and doesn't double down on stupid (a la Jones)

Exactly right
If you never take a chance you a unlikely to succeed
Easy Choices = Hard Life

Hard Choices = Easy Life

Jerry would rather be friends with players than make tough choices which makes it hard on all of us.

He should be drafting a QB every single year until Dak's contract is up and I don't care if it hurts Dak's feelings or not.
