Maybe you should consider posting something that you think is better and let us all see. This board is here for sharing ya know.

You might want to add HUMOR to the title so guys like burmafrd don't have to bother reading it.

Agreed, it also makes me laugh how some people take themselves so very, very seriously!

for anyone who was ever curious as to what the "poster child for cop-out" looked like.

You may have a point.

I guess I would argue that humor is supposed to be funny, not stupid like this was. Maybe I just have higher standards then some do.

Or maybe you just need more fiber in your diet.

to a point i do see where he's coming from. i can't tell from the typo's if they're meant to be funny or what and i still have no idea what cadillac williams is going to be doing to pittman.

funny or just a W in the F was that?

those can be interesting but not always funny.

if i get time this weekend hey - i'll take a shot at it.

Actually, I understand that too. If you don't find it funny, you don't find it funny.

Burma's catching heat because he ALWAYS likes to rain on threads he thinks aren't worthy of being posted on the board. And when challenged to offer up an alternative, you get "I don't feel like it"

yea, i've locked horns with him before. (one of my 2 "cut it out's" from ya'll!) i think he was the last of like 12 children and by that time parents and even the rest of the kids just don't care what you do. most kids can stand at the edge of a swimming pool and go LOOK MOM!!! and jump in and get some kudo's.

in burms case it sounds like no one cared enough to realize he was even able to get back out of the pool. maybe he should have dove head first into a puddle like in the cartoons and that would have got some attention to him.

speaking of which - i have seen that live about 20 years ago. a guy dove into the lake head first and it was a very dry season. he was perpindecular to the ground for a few moments and just slid into the water just like in those cartoons. thankfully he was fine but no one ever found him funny outside that moment either.

burm, was that you????

That's my vote.

No offense Burm, but please spare us your expert analysis on all future attempts at humor.

We have a nice thread to break up the monotony of the off season and the entire conversation is about your whining.

You are so abrasive.

Also I have a problem with your sig image.

Embrace the Hate on top and peace on the bottom. Reminds me of a scene in Full metal Jacket

Pogue Colonel: Marine, what is that button on your body armor?

Private Joker: A peace symbol, sir.

Pogue Colonel: Where'd you get it?

Private Joker: I don't remember, sir.

Pogue Colonel: What is that you've got written on your helmet?

Private Joker: "Born to Kill", sir.

Pogue Colonel: You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?

Private Joker: No, sir.

Pogue Colonel: You'd better get your head and your butt wired together, or I will take a giant dump on you.

Private Joker: Yes, sir.

Pogue Colonel: Now answer my question or you'll be standing tall before the man.

Private Joker: I think I was trying to suggest something about the duality of man, sir.

Pogue Colonel: The what?

Private Joker: The duality of man. The Jungian thing, sir.

Pogue Colonel: Whose side are you on, son?

Private Joker: Our side, sir.

Pogue Colonel: Don't you love your country?

Private Joker: Yes, sir.

Pogue Colonel: Then how about getting with the program? Why don't you jump on the team and come on in for the big win?

Private Joker: Yes, sir.

Word to the wise -

Do not print this out to read while attempting to drop a duece in your local office bathroom. Laughing out loud while sitting in a stall is frowned upon.

I work in a sheltered work shop that also does data entry and work for the DHHR state agency.

So Part of the building is offices, one section is full of computers for data entry.

The other part of the building is the work space for individuals with some sort of disability.

I work up front in an office so I usually use the staff bathrooms.

However there are times I have to go back and get some supplies or they are cleaning the staff bathrooms so I have to use the common bathroom.

One day I walk into the bathroom and hear one of the clients (this is the term we use for the workers with disabilities) saying "Good Boy, Yes that's a good boy" I turn the corner and see that there is nobody else in the bathroom but him and he is in the stall.

I just did an about face and walked out...figured I would let him do whatever he was doing in peace.:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

It wasnt that funny, but it was better than anything the Engel's have written.

I must admit that I laugh a little easier than most. I didn't think it was super hilarious or anything, but even a little chuckle from behind the stall can draw undesired attention.
