She is from Houston and knows what we went thru for Harvey. Her husband is a SEAL stationed there and the military escorted them out personally. Left her husband behind of course

Reports and the 06 GFS model shows it that this could be a Harvey scenario all over again.
The high pressure to the north may slow down the storm to a crawl and have it hover over the coast.
Winds may die down, but the rain may exceed 30"s if not more. Be safe

I'm headed to Charlotte airport, was fairly close to the water this morning but could not see it. Governor was on the radio today and he was not playing around. They are pleading with folks along the coast to evacuate. But, as you know some won't.

I know, and it's sad that they put their lives at risk for something that can be rebuilt. You can replace a house. You can't replace a life.
