Great City. Love that area of the country. The storm is going to be rough, but hopefully it won't live up to the hype. My Nephew was evacuated from Columbia
(U of SC) and the school has been shut down. It's the rain and storm surge that I think will create the most problems. Best to your Sister and her Family.

Yeah,I saw what that governor said. He’s being pretty blunt about it. This is no storm to take lightly,like I often see people on the net do..”Pfffft....I’ve been in these before ...I’m BBQing”

I live 30 minutes from Wilmington --- I have secured my home with hurricane shutters and did everything we could I got my family out by leaving tuesday. I am up in NY now and safe in my old stomping grounds - i really hope i have a home to go back to when this is said and done :oops: back in NY for Giants Cowboys tough time to get excited for a game though with everything at stake but we are physically safe....

Just thinking about you South Carolina Cowboys fans and your neighbors, or any of you that have family or interests in the Carolinas.

The South Carolina shores are amazing. I hope they weather this OK, but it looks pretty spooky right now. This is going to be a direct hit, and the winds and flooding could wash away some beautiful scenery, and possibly a lot of lives if they don't take heed and get out.

I was supposed to be headed there today to help some customers prepare for the storm. However, we worked through some things with them over the phone and online yesterday so we wouldn't muck up the evacuation process. They don't need anyone coming in there right now when they're trying to get people out. Every inch of highway and every plane seat needs to be available for those folks.

Hopefully, this thing will weaken before it hits shore. Yikes.

I'm in NC. It's going to be bad. Fingers crossed for everyone in harm's way. Your furniture is not worth your life.

For sure my friend! maybe when its all said and done i can meet you in Myrtle or we can get a group of us NC Boys fans together and we can all have lunch at a restaurant ( buffalo wild wings or something ) and check out a Cowboys game ! stay safe my friend god bless hope all goes well
