Hurts' 14-game winning streak vs winning teams

Just give him the MVP...he might be an all-time great when all is said and done. Just a TD machine

Hurts is justifing me for hoping he would fall to us in the 2nd round and we take him
His success doesn't take me by surprise at all.

"Just something about that team, that city or something!"

No he did not mention the city "specifically". You just plucked that out of GENERAL COMMENTS for something to argue about.

"Specific" means...well....specific? Two other things....especially the "something" isn;t very "specific">
He literally said the word “city”, specifically.

Cope.

NFL record in the regular season.

The dude is cool under pressure. And the Eagles aren't that great overall, so it's not just because he plays for a juggernaut.

I didn't think he'd be a good pro. He continues to prove that he is.

Winners win. Losers whine about the refs.

But I don't think he beats the 49ers this week.
He sucks more and more. before the game I mentioned, I don’t care who wins a loses Cowboys need to take care of their own business. But the referees this is the third game they ruined. The referees just suck. We need full-time refs with benefits who are accountable

Pulling for the 49ers...
Yuck, I feel dirty....

that's perfectly said
I noticed it when Dallas played them. Dak was playing his arse off, extending plays, dropping dimes on low percentage throws just to keep up. Meanwhile Hurts is making relatively easy QB runs, handing the ball off, occasional QB sneak tush push. Nothing flashy but with a high success rate enough to wear down the defense and put points on the board. If you can win at the LOS from both sides of the ball you're set up for success!

This game is still won and lost in the pits

dude is a problem and that's with a bum knee. well except on my fantasy team - stupid eagles. We need to introduce Howie Roseman to a nice girl from Fiji and him gtho of this country

Hilarious thread.

Dolphins, Cowboys and Bills were flat-out robbed by awful officiating vs Philly. KC had the worst case of dropsies you'll ever see vs them as well.

So you can be fooled by the W/L record or you can watch the games.

Vegas isn't fooled. The 49ers are favored to win in Philly next Sunday.

Anyone who's been paying attention knows the Eagles and their 10-1 record aren't actually legitimate.

Not to say they're not a good team... they are. But they're more like "7-4 good," not "10-1 good."

They're a VERY lucky team that's squeaking by week after week. 7-1 record in 1-score games.

If I'm whining and "not giving them their due," then so are the folks at the Vegas sportsbooks. I like the company I'm in there.

Wow. Impressive. I could care less because he’s not doing it alone. He benefits from having the best line in the NFL and the best WR…I think San Fran beats them this week…

And beating winning teams in the nfl is not the same as other leagues because some teams like Dallas and Detroit have 2nd place schedules for one…

In what world is he greater than the team around him?
The best OL in the NFL, bar none, not a weak link there, and they usually have solid backups as well.
Two A wideouts, both good route runners with speed, leaping ability, and hands; one is a strong physical beast as well.
One of the best TEs. This year an even better RB situation than in the past. It’s an offense and defense that stays in the game when he enters the 4th quarter with only 98 yards passing (Bills).

They have the best DTs, a big time DE who makes plays in the big moments, and they have two respected veteran CBs. They have a kicker who is excellent.

Im sorry, but Hurts is not carrying that team. He’s an above average QB along for the ride and running more than he passes, but because they run so well, play action often gives him open receivers.

That’s the biggest difference between these teams.

Talent wise they are pretty even.

The Cowboys panic in tight situations and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Which team has the superior OL?
Which team has the best WR duo?
Which team has the better TE at this point?
Which team has the better DTs?

We have more depth at DE and both LB groups leave much to be desired.

I don’t see even talent at all, especially not for playoff football, running and stopping the run.

Um you have that record reversed. The Eagles have a losing all time record against the Cowboys.. as do all the teams in the NFC East. Here are the head to head records for the Cowboys against all the NFC East teams:

New York Giants123754620.6182887235110100.0001721All Game
Philadelphia Eagles125705500.5602763251943100.75010555All Games
Washington Commanders125774620.6242965242120200.0002057All Game

As you can see the Cowboys hold a pretty good winning percentage against all of them. The Eagles are the closest.. but still a ways to go to get even. They would have to sweep the next 8 seasons to get there. Good luck with that.
The Cowboys have a losing record against the Eagles during the last 27 years.
