It was a bad situation.

He won the division last year with a lot of problems but those problems finally caught up and its caused him to be a deer in the headlights at times..

Ive seen him play at a extremely high level.. I think he gets there again.

i have never seen a QB experience such a precipitous level of play as Wentz in just 2 years.imo most of it is mental,holding on to the ball for such a long time when you know your Oline has been not as good just baffles me.

seriously thiugh there were times in 2017 and to begin 2018 if Garett had the nutsack he should have benched dak.. problem is we had Rush as a backup LOL so it never happened. Dak worked through his struggles and the team made this Dak friendly offense , wentz hasn't been that lucky, hes lacking major talent and his team is also going through OL injuries' etc..he will rebound there or somewhere else..

Yeah personally I think with Wentz you sit him now you still have questions. Had they gave Wentz a weapon with that 2nd round pick or traded it for Deandre Hopkins they may be seeing a different Wentz then what they got.

You don't sit your franchise QB. Once you sit him that's it. You can't go back to him. This is why this is moronic. I think Wentz sucks but the Eagles can't say they felt that way because they gave up multiple 1st and 2nd round picks to get him and then spent 100 million on him.

Dak struggled in 2017 for sure but for the most part he never deserved being benched. Truly, Wentz probably doesn't either but Peterson is trying to save his job.
