Better question is... Would you trade Romo straight up for next years #1 pick in the draft right now...
Straight up? No because that pick would be used to replace the franchise QB we lost and then there's no profit in the deal. Or who we draft could stink and then we lost out, huge.

The profit could be that we get a young, promising QB who could potentially be better than an aging Tony Romo. As if there's not possible way a QB in next years class could be better than Tony...

If not the number one pick in next years draft, which is loaded with talent at the QB position/Clowney, then what would you want in return?

Who said there was no possible way?

You insinuated that it would be an even swap; franchise QB for franchise QB as if to say that there's nothing gained by drafting a young QB.

Romo has never thrown for 5000 yds. All you Romo lovers always talk numbers, so by numbers, Bradford is better than Romo, right?
What on earth are you talking about?

And by the way, at the PRO level Romo came about as close to 5000 as you can get this year. Romo's numbers dwarf Bradfords at the pro level..and in all ways imaginable.

Update: I see you corrected it. Good deal. Stafford does have some stats....and I'd take way over bradford.

Why on earth would STL want a 34 year old choker that's turns the ball over like clockwork ?

Why do that when they already have a younger version who turns it over at a higher rate and is worse in all statistical areas. cool:cool:

Especially when they passed up the chance of drafting RG3. Bradford has far more upside than Tony Chokemo.

Bradford has potential, we've seen the best days of Romo, get it done:D

lol, can't wait to see the bashing Bardford will get for not reaching Aikman's or Staubach's elite level. If Romo COULDN'T do it by fans accounts, no way for Bradford. Since we all know losses are Tony's fault and not the teams, so Bradford will have the same criteria.

Exactly. Bradford too will be a choker, if he throws 1 int in a season, he is a choker. And oh ya, he has to win a superbowl immediately coming to Dallas, or he too is no Troy Aikman. Thus a choker ala Romo.

Bradford for Romo? No way.

If the Rams want to make it a package and throw in a few of their good young players + a few of the high draft picks they've been stockpiling?

I'd still probably say no. But it isn't a ridiculous thought.

I personally don't see the value in trading Romo for any player...trading for picks? perhaps, if a deal could EVER be brokered that would benefit the Cowboys...but, they have not shown the ability to get more from a deal than they give up, and thus, no, I don't see a move like this (especially for Bradford)

If we did it before this draft, I would. We could take a QB in the 2nd this year. Much like Cincy and SF did with Dalton and Kaepernick. Somebody like Tyler Wilson, Ryan Nassib or Mike Glennon. Then, with the #1 next year we select Clowney and with our pick we take BPA.

Sounds like Romo accidentally left you a dirty surprise in your bed when you went to lay down with your GF.
