Thats not really true. Every QB plays in a timing system (somewhat) every short to intermediate pass is a timing pattern and that is what Bradys' bread and butter is.

Solid OL, a good blocking/receiving RB, and short to intermediate routes.
Brady is the best qb in the league at buying time IN the pocket to let plays develope. But hey, nobody ever wants to give Brady credit for some reason, it's always the offensive line, running back, defense or whatever.

The same thing you will here all the pundits say about Aikman when this HOF voting starts to really heat up.

What the hell does seeing him in person mean Nors? The tv shows the qb when he has the ball, every damn person watching him on tv sees the same thing at qb that someone at the game sees, you just don't see the whole field. Tom Brady makes his plays by buying time in the pocket, that couldn't be more unlike Marino.
btw: When the hell do you have time to be a Cowboys fan? Will you still be a Cowboys fan after Parcells/Bledsoe are gone?

After I rip your gizzards out and stuff them down your throat I'll explain the time I have.

TV does not equal in person. Many deluded fans thought VT was as good as Drew - But anyone that saw those two in person 40 times knew better..

You either don't watch Brady or are in denial. He gets the ball out fast.

I have been a Cowboy fan since a 6 year old pup and will mop you up in Dallas lore, history and love of the star.

Go home - before you are sent there in an internet box. :starspin

Brady is effective in trusting his OL and stepping up into the pocket.

I am not discrediting Brady by any means. He is an effective QB. But he is not one of the best ever regardless of the SBs.

For a majority of his career he has faced easier schedules and a weak AFCE.

The guy makes plays. He wins games and doesnt make many mistakes.

I would only give little credence to the running game in NE last year. Prior to that it was up to Brady to make the dink and dunk passes and not turn the ball over. He has been a very good...as Parcells would say, "Bus Driver" .

Like I said, he reminds me of Phil Simms more than anyone else.

I am one of the few Commanders fans who will admit that the Commanders have never had a franchise QB. Seriously, Rypien, Theisman, Williams, Jurgenson, Kilmer, etc.

A 7-4 record might tell you that he is making more good decisions than bad ones.

Also his INT-TD ratio would too.

After reading over my post in quotes. I would like to correct myself. I made it sound as if Drew is clueless out on the field. I would like to retract that part of my post.

As far as I am concerned, he is still a bus driver and I believe it is because Drew doesn't make the right decisions more times than not.

I think I would like to correct what I said above with the below statement:

As far as I am concerned, Drew is being treated as a bus driver with a weekend pass on some days. Stat wise, he is having a good year. However, when watching the games you can see where things may not be a rosy as they appear on paper. Under pressure situations I am concerned about his decision making. I would like to think that after so many years of playing this game, he would handle the pressure a little better.

Back to the football discussion - Glenn shied away from contact over the middle. I'm his biggest fan in general but he was distracted on a huge play to start game....

I have to say, I really like Bledsoe and what he's done for our team.

Everyone looks back at Troy Aikman as the bench mark. Troy is remembered as the robo-QB who could do no wrong. He had laser lights, and could hit a target with pin point accuracy.

But I also remember the Troy Aikman ala 1998-2000 ...the Troy Aikman who couldn't adjust and needed a WR to run perfect routes. A Troy Aikman who ignored his young WR's when they looked to him for help. A Troy Aikman who couldn't get it done without a top team surrounding him. Troy, without Michael and Jay, was a very average QB.

I love Troy, but I think Drew Bledsoe has done a remarkable job for us this. It's not fair to compare the two, but the comparisons will ultimately come.

Deep down, Drew Bledsoe is still a hired gun, but this is perhaps the best hired gun we've hired in over 10 years.
