I am sick of one side officiating

What the hell game were you watching - that's exactly why we lost today

We lost because the Skins interior DL was/is much better than our interior OL. We couldn't do anything in the run game because we could not move their DL. Add some timely penalties and a QB that is all over the place and we're lucky to even be inn it at the end. This would have been total theft had we somehow gotten the W cause they dominated the LOS on both sides

The thing about the Commanders first TD was that block in the back that sprung the play was called against the Cowboys twice this season already. One negated a Zeke TD. I believe it was called against Smith or Williams and the other was called against a TE I believe. In any case, I've been watching games all season and every team blocks in the back on the play. Its never called. I don;t want to believe the refs have a plan to screw the Cowboys but we do get called for stuff no one else gets called for. Remember the play where the Cowboys WR was flagged for being a 12th man in the huddle? Bogus and the league admitted it. They changed the rule.

You’re right, but what else can we call it? Don’t you see the missed calls on the opposition?
Watch the Detroit game? Some of our guys had their D linemen in headlocks yet Detroit had 8 penalties compared to our 2.

Valid points.

Always seems though, Dallas is called for a crucial penalty on EVERY big play. We get them calling penalties on the Skins on some random bs play lol

the game was lost by poor execution on the offensive side of the ball, holding calls were correct, simple fact is they lost because the O was not very good.

It seems that way and there’s some truth to it but it happens to EVERY team. I used to feel the same way to a degree but after buying the NFL package two years ago and watching several different teams is when I realized how bad and inconsistent the officiating is league wide.

Almost every team has their “Dez catch” call or some sort of bs and/or timely penalty that cost them a game or two.

Remember a few years ago when Hochuli botched a call at the end of the game that cost the Chargers a playoff spot? Yesterday Tennessee got screwed on a 3rd down TD to potentially tie the game with just a few seconds left. They ended up scoring on 4th down but the wrong call could have lost them the game. What about the wrong call against the Browns (which the NFL later admitted was the wrong call) that cost them a potential OT and/or win against the Raiders? (think it was the Raiders.

These calls happen every weekend, it’s not exclusive to us.

This is not new. I agree, but it is what it is. We have been victims of this for years. Weird penalty after weird penalty. I was on hand and wondered where the replays on the FedEx scoreboard on the play prior to the Dak fumble TD play. Another phantom holding penalty putting us behind the eightball on every 3rd down.

Tyron mugged the guy in the 1st Q on the Dak scramble, which gave this crew all the impetus it needed to throw every flag it wanted from that point forward.

Tyron has been very poor this year. Might not even be a top 5 LT anymore.

Forgive me if this was posted and I missed it.

How about the play before Connor Williams holding call. The pass to Rico Gathers. I understand incidental contact and people tripping, but when Rico is running a route and the defender straight runs into his path and trips him, that is either PI or illegal contact.

Would have made it so the Dak fumble td never happend.

Every NFL fan base feels like the refs are out to get them, and every NFL fan base is wrong.

Yeah, we get “gifts” from time to time. Every team does. BUT, I’d bet the farm, we get FAR MORE against us—absolutely RIDICULOUS calls, most often at the worst possible time.

Good/great teams get the calls in their favor. We did when we were great in the 90s.
Bad teams get the calls against them. We do now because we're a bad team.
When we become good to great again, we'll start getting the calls in our favor.
Until then, get ready for a flag at the most inopportune times. Shrug.
Hard to get good when everything good is called back. We lost for a lot of reasons, including bad officiating.

I’d take that bet in a heart beat. Right off the top of my head I already mentioned two bad calls that cost one team a potential win and the other the playoffs. They didn’t even have a chance to do anything after the call was made.

The only game you can think of? I'm glad the bullcrap went our way for once.
Actually I looked at all the games so far this year. IIRC, 2-3 games had us getting one or two extra penalties and I believe in the Seattle game they had 3 more penalties. So all in all, it’s been very even minus the Detroit game in which the refs practically handed us the win.

Ha ha. I thought you meant the 2014 playoff game against Detroit. I'm not mad when calls go our way, though. We could use a break for a change.

The only problem with this assessment is that Commanders were not pointing at the Cowboys when the whistle blew. The Commanders on the right side of the line were acting as though they knew the Commanders were going to be penalized. I don;t think the offsides was planned. The guy jumped offsides and the refs took the opportunity to call it.

It's a comical take that this was some brilliant seed planted by the Skins coaching staff.

No sir. The home team's 5 minutes ago sure victory was now in doubt.

Rather hear the wrath of the fans, they modified the offsides penalty one way to the crazy snap infraction against LP. 2000 career snaps, 2000 repeated snap function. Arguably the best to ever do it.

Same thing happened to the Panthers in Philly after the clinching INT was inexplicably overturned to give Wentz one more chance for heroics.

The league is almost rigged towards parody insurance. It's a joke.

And you’d lose, but go ahead, deny! Believe whatever stupid crap you want. You sound like one of those guys whose #1 priority is NOT the Cowboys, but “winning” the debate, having the last word. All yours!

We can all agree that most of the penalties called on us are legit.

However, our opponents are not being reffed with the same scrutiny as we are. Our D cannot buy an offensive holding call, as well as an illegal pick call.

Then, the refs seem to find the most gut wrenching times to call weak or nonexistent penalties on us.

I just want equality in the calls.

Btw, the LPL call was pure trash. He did what he has done his whole career and what other LS do. The game should have gone to OT.
Ya,I'm hearing you,,, &,,, good luck ,I'll be looking forward to hearing from you on how that shakes out.
