People need to realize this game is largely meaningless in the grand scheme of things.
If we beat the Rams but then lose in Philly, we likely can't make the playoffs unless Philly spits the bit against the Skins or Giants, which they likely won't.
Won't matter much either way, your credibility is already zero.
Not with anybody with a clue. If it’s the likes of @stasheroo and @visionary and @Hennessy_King who want to take issue....I think I’ll be able to safely ignore it for the background noise that it is. I’ve had good farts that make more sense than you guys can manage at your best.
Your act is one of delusion at its finest. And it's finished, like your hero.
[farting noise]
If the players have already quit weeks ago why support that type of effort...Then get lost. I cant never see a fan rooting for losses, but then question players desire to win.
Yeah, it's a weird dynamic with me. I very much know that this failed era needs to end and part of me likes watching the guy stand on the sidelines for three hours with no answers. After all, he's collected about $50 million in salary and wasted plenty of careers "in the process".
But I also feel for the human being twisting in the wind, knowing the ax will soon fall. I'm happy that they will move one, but it's never a glorious day when someone gets fired and families are affected. Garrett might not have kids, but I'm sure those on his staff soon to be out of work do. And it's never great when those families are displaced and have to look for work elsewhere.
It's a conflicting series of emotions for me.
Then get lost. I cant never see a fan rooting for losses, but then question players desire to win.
Oh gee. Here comes the glee club to tell people who real fans are.
And I love the false accusation that I am saying I’m rooting against them. I simply said I can’t root for them. Big difference mental midgets.
Your act is one of delusion at its finest. And it's finished, like your hero.
I definitely agree with the sentiment about people losing jobs and being displaced.
I will say that I won’t be losing sleep for JG. He could never work again for the rest of his life and have no issues for how much he has earned over the last 10 years as HQ and the few as the OC.
JG is far from broke even if he doesn’t find another job but he more than likely will get hired somewhere despite how much he may or may not suck, depending on who you ask.
Rest assured, they are. Not openly or honestly mind you, but they are.
Garrett is getting the Dave Campo treatment and worse than what Ron Rivera got. Rivera actually got his walking papers before the Panthers started their search. Garrett gets to squirm, staring the inevitable in the face. I actually feel bad for him in that sense.
I can see the original post's being a valid view.
It's the short view vs. the long view, basically. The long view is that Garrett, Marinelli and the special teams coach need to go to move this team back to contender status, and more losses will add fuel to their funeral pyre, so painful as it might be, more losses add to the cause.
The short view is that the season's not actually over until the last loss, whether that be the last regular season game or the Super Bowl. Until then you root for the Cowboys, just because the fat lady hasn't sung.
Who's then the "real" fan? There's not a textbook definition, I can understand and respect either view.
Myself? I just watch the games, I have no expectation either winning or losing. I think they will lose, but that won't keep me from watching...
Naw- unless his Ole Lady's a money-shredder JG's got enough bucks in the bank for you, me and him to retire and never hit another lick at a snake ...
