Everyone knows how candid and critical I am, and I think we have improved. We added Brandin Cooks and Stefan Gilmore. We added more bulk on the DL with a run stuffer. We have three young TEs with potential. If some of these players we drafted pan out we’ll remain in contention and get better.

Don’t forget the draft picks traded to bring in Cooks, Gilmore, and they retained Hankins as well from a traded draft pick.
That helps the team as well and allows these drafted players time to develop.

I think they did improve their chances.
And I don’t care what SF and Philly did. I still say they lost more than they gained.
We closed the gap. Time to show it on the field we passed them.

Eagles lost hargraves and cj, yes they added carter and had a heck of a draft. Lost 2 linebackers also, Hargraves had 11 sacks and took most of the doubles teams last year. Cox isn’t a threat on run defense either in fact he has regressed the last couple years playing the run. Cowboys added a mammoth at DT who actually has talent, added cooks who brings more speed to the offense and Gilmore who was on a defense that had no pass rush, in fact was ranked 31st in pass rush win rate .. Dallas was 2nd , I’m sure diggs , parsons, bland , Osa ,Sam willaims, will continue to improve also.

Also the running back position overall will be more explosive than last year. Gallup?? I believe he will be better after having another year to recover.

Jalen carter not gonna have the impact of hargraves in year 1 lol

Honestly I get the impression MM's attitude is similar to Shanahan's. Don't worry about the offense, with my experience and scheme we will be fine, and won't need a lot of superstars. Let's plug in some loose holes on the D. I think people overlook he and Quinn both have Super Bowl experience. They are putting their heads together and coming up with a plan, not how to win the regular season but the post-season.

A question, if you are one of 8 teams left, are you not in the conversation for champion ? If you loose by a Touchdown in the divisional round, are you not in the conversation ?

I get sick of the juvenile BS I read on here. To tell you the truth most of the post are thought provoking, interesting, conversation starters. It's a couple of dim bulbs who just post BS. So I ask again how can you be one game from the NFCC

and not be in the conversation, you are one game away. In Dallas case they were 8 points shy of a NFCCG. And they'll be in the conversation again this year

Well I will admit We didn’t get worse. The run defense is better no question. Our new KTM has a reputation for run blocking. I don’t think Jones will be any worse than ZEEK for short yardage maybe not quite as good. I can’t wait to see the Deuce loose. I’m just surprised they went to a different direction but I’m OK with it

Dallas biggest weakness was offensive playmakers and all we really did was add Brandon Cooks.

The guard spot is still weak.

I think if they go with their best 5 then that means Tyler back at guard and Tyron back at left Tackle.

I just don’t see a team as it’s currently constructed that’s competing with the Eagles for the division or the conference.

My hope is they have something up there sleeve.

It’s hard for me to believe that Ronald Jones is really going to be their #2 back.

The Cowboys are also really giving Tolbert an opportunity to shine with not giving him any real competition.

My hope is that Dallas will somehow pull off a miracle trade and get Derrick Henry in here.

The Titans are not a contender and Henry kinda changes everything for us. Immediately makes us a legit Super Bowl contender.

I agree. I mean................they want to run the ball and didnt even take a back? Love Pollard, but you need a stable of back.

IM really confused. I thought these guys were starting get it right. They are complete morons.

Duece is.a playmaker. The defense has improved added two lineman and a linebacker. The offensive line is fine and we added some young depth. We have good tight end group that balances out each other. We are a solid number 3 in the NFC.
