I don't feel Gregory suspension will feel significant after camp

I am not sure why we are in semi-panic mode at DE in part because of Randy Gregory suspension. Not sure how Gregory was handed starting job because he certainly didn't earn it. Dallas is going to camp with alot of young talent and I like Marinelli coaching ability with unknown young players. I would not trade Leary or sign FA until you know what they have in: Russell, Mayowa, Irving & Charles Tapper. Here is fearless prediction: Jack Crawford will unseat Randy Gregory as starting DE coming out of training camp and thus making Gregory suspension insignificant.

I think it's because he's already failed at least 4 tests in only his first year when all eyes were on him after the combine failure. Why will he change now. Next its a 10 game suspension and a wasted 2nd round pick.

It is an outdated system, you pretty much have to try to out-talent teams because they can't seem to scheme their way into sacks or picks

Thing is, I don't think he's a bust based off of his play at all. I think he's a bust because he's three quarters of the way to smoking himself out of the league after just one season.

Sure, if you want to make the point that he's not technically busted out yet, fine. Granted. He's teetering on the edge. We'll see if he makes it through his second full season.

Either way, I've moved on from the guy. Don't trust him, and don't want to extend another guy who's a puff away from sitting 16 games. Just not worth the risk.

I watched the panther game all 22. That was the softest zone crap I've ever seen in my life. I don't get this team man. So inconsistent, especially on defense.

Let me add to that. I just watched our last game against the Skins on Wednesday and I gotta tell you I was shocked at how Kirk picked our secondary apart. It had nothing to do with the pass rush as he was getting the ball out hot. He took the snap, dropped back three steps and released the ball. On eight throws it was like 21 - 0 before the end of the first quarter. He read our zones and dropped the ball in every crease. It was embarrassing.

Ronde Barber was one of the commentators and he stated that Kirk was picking that zone apart and he had noticed teams were having success doing that against us. We keep complaining about our pass rush and our secondary but is it the scheme?

I will be watching this closely this season.

This is why I'm not buying any hype with this team anymore. I can't respect a team playing defense just giving away yards. Spare me with the bend don't break crap. Pittsburgh had a weak secondary and were aggressive all year. I hate this team sometimes
