I Don't Get It.

I hate to break it to you, but a win is a win. Last year's world champs beat the Browns 10-6 the first time they played them last season, lost 15-6 to the Eagles and got a nice win-streak jump started by an 11-10 win over San Diego.

The year before that the World Champion Giants had a host of nasty losses, losing two of their last three, including a bad 22-10 loss to the Todd Collins' led Commanders.

You never know what's going to happen. Hand-wringing over an ugly win as though it was really a loss is pointless. The players and coaches know that you're not going to win alot of games playing like that, and have expressed such. So just sit back and enjoy the fact that we just stole one from our biggest rival, knowing that a loss like that will probably send the Commanders into a nose-dive.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have concerns over watching that craptastic offense over the last two weeks.

BUT, virtually ending the season for the Skins on a day where we continually shot ourselves in the foot is.......................wait for it............................PRICELESS!

Wow. Slate is not exactly know for waving pom-poms. I appreciate his effort to see both sides.

He was ingratiating himself with the "glass totally full/see no evil" crowd. In short, he wants to be loved--even if it means ignoring his lying eyes.

I, like most posters here are relived we squeaked out a win. Obviously there are issues. I do not see the point of bashing a guy who is attempting to remain positive.

What bashing? I calmly replied with a series of analogies. He started the infighting by whining about other posters who failed to "enjoy" the dubious victory as much as he did. Well, too damn bad. That's their right.

I wouldn't use happy as an emotional descriptor after that game. Relieved is much closer to what I'm sure 99% of Cowboys fans felt. Relieved that they didn't just blow a game to the stinkin Commanders. Relieved that the offense woke up and put together ONE drive to keep them in the driver's seat. Happy--an emotion which must pop incredibly easy to the surface if it was generated by that performance.

Coming on top of the lackluster effort in Green Bay and this makes you happy?

Sheesh, thank goodness we got the two points, great we are still in first, a host of questions about the offense. These were all thoughts I had--happiness wasn't an emotion that could have been genuinely felt.

I've done my fair share of complaining about this team, but the amount of whiners on here after a win is amazing. Some people here want to win by 30+ every game. Let's just get the W's and look foward to next week! I don't know how but we pulled out a W yesterday and I'll take it. You can say your concerned or whatever but the NFL is a crazy league. You get teams like the Bengals and Eagles laying eggs against the Raiders. KC putting up 27 points against the vaunted Stealers D. The Jets dominating Brady.

You never know how teams are going to come out. Take the wins and look foward to the next week please! That's all we can want as fans.

Even then, this game wouldnt be that troubling if not for the fact that it was basically a carbon copy of the previous weeks abortion of a performance. The only difference is that this week we were playing a team that is so inept that we won in spite of ourselves.

It's the Commanders. They could be starting their bottom 22 guys, and they would not be lacking in motivation. Historically, it has not mattered who was up or who was down in this rivalry game.

Philly had no problem blowing us out consistently during the Campo years

Washington is an awful team. "Rivalry game" is just an excuse for playing poolry. Had we blown them out, not one person here would be posting "WOW, I'm shocked we blew out Washington"

Correct, this is the way it is now in the NFL.

The Raiders beat Philly and Cinncy, .. we would be foolish to think they are not coming in to Dallas with "kicking our butts" on their minds.

"Tony Romo has accuracy issues". I don't believe that he does, but some do. How can a quarterback who cannot deliver the ball accurately contribute to a "blowout"?

"Tashard Choice is the only good back this team has". I don't believe that he's the only good back, but some do. How can a running back currently receiving only a few carries per game contribute to a "blowout"?

"Roy Williams isn't a #1 or #2 receiver". I don't believe that he's a #3 receiver, but some do. How can a #3 receiver contribute to a "blowout"? This should be fun to read.

"Martellus Bennett is being wasted on blocking duty". I don't believe that his efforts in the 2-TE sets are wasted, but some do. How can a tight end regulated only to blocking contribute to a "blowout"?

My advice? Don't be literal if you have little or no foundation for being literal. Do you comprehend just how many individuals post on this site on a regular basis? Does it seem anyway implausible for you that one post cannot easily defeat your claim?

Which is exactly the reason some of us have concerns about this teams ability to put together sustained drives that end in a touchdown.

To be fair, most fans saw a Commanders team without Chris Samuel, Chris Cooley, Clinton Portis, Albert Haynesworth, Ledell Betts and and playing on the road and the Cowboys still barely won the game.

I'm happy with 7-3 and at the top of the division but I can understand those who are concerned.
