If we play like this we have no chance to get to the Super Bowl, much less win it. We were playing a 3-6 team at home and couldn't muster enough offense to scare anyone. How would you expect us to get through the playoffs where we are competing agains all winning teams?

Haven't youse guys ever heard the saying " you only play as good as your opposition"?
Last week not enough runs, this week too many runs not enough passing until last 2 or 3 mins. of the game.
Even Joe Buck made a comment about all the complaints about last weeks lack of run game, and Garret must be listening to them. But if your QB is having an off day then you go to running game to compensate,or throw enough to get him on target.

I've done my fair share of complaining about this team, but the amount of whiners on here after a win is amazing. Some people here want to win by 30+ every game. Let's just get the W's and look foward to next week! I don't know how but we pulled out a W yesterday and I'll take it. You can say your concerned or whatever but the NFL is a crazy league. You get teams like the Bengals and Eagles laying eggs against the Raiders. KC putting up 27 points against the vaunted Stealers D. The Jets dominating Brady.

You never know how teams are going to come out. Take the wins and look foward to the next week please! That's all we can want as fans.
It amazes me that you think people would be happy with 30+ point wins.

December ring any bells?

Have you ever heard the saying "what have you done for me lately"?

A team is only as good as it is playing at the moment, and right now we are struggling to be capable of winning.

I'm happy with the win, but a person has to be realistic enough to accept that things are going to have to improve in order to have much team success in the end.

By they way, if the norm is that we only play as well as we have to in order to win, we have no chance to succeed in the playoffs, because that kind of mindset wont go very far against consistently good teams.

I would've settled for a 20 point win, or even a 10 point win.

No doubt I'll take any win, but do you really not see any problems with getting shutout by a sorry Commanders team for over 57 minutes?

Of course that's a little alarming.

But a year ago this team would have folded in these same circumstances. Defense made the necessary stops and Romo made the necessary throws to win. Team effort really. Not to mention the ST coverage after our only TD to give them bad field position.

Not going to complain about a W, but realistically the Cowboys were horrible yesterday. They needed breaks to beat a 3-6 team....

Whatever, I just hope they can perform better against Oakland and for goodness sake they better be ready for NYG.

I hope this is like the KC game and we pwn our next 3 opponents after everyone complains about a non pretty win.

When you were bringing home D's from school, were your parents jumping for joy? I mean, you passed, right? You didn't technically fail, right? So were they happy with you barely getting by? I'm guessing "no," and rightly so. Regarding yesterday's dismal victory, the only appropriate or "sensible" emotion is relief or exasperation, not joy. You may now return to your pom-pom routine.

That's a horrible comparison. Grades can impact the college you go to and ultimatly your career. The difference between a D and a B is huge.

Luckily there's no grades in the NFL. It's judged by wins. Not grades on the wins. That win yesterday had the same grade as Tampa winning 38-7 yesterday.

I don't expect to win by 30+ every game, but I don't think expecting a division leader to not need a last minute drive to fend off defeat at home against a bottom 5 team is too much to ask. Even then, this game wouldnt be that troubling if not for the fact that it was basically a carbon copy of the previous weeks abortion of a performance. The only difference is that this week we were playing a team that is so inept that we won in spite of ourselves.

They had doezens of times to blow the game. The fact that Romo and the offense sucked it up and gave one more last drive to win should tell you alot.

You are nitpicking in order to avoid the point.

The fact is that despite passing, parents are still concerned with D's because they know it will take better performance to be successful in school and in life once the challenges get more difficult.

And despite winning this game, fans are still concerned with the lack of offense because they know it will take better performance to be successful in the NFL once the challenges get tougher, especially in the playoffs.

Sorry, but my analogy is apt and solid. Every Sunday is a test, and the Boys barely passed it yesterday. They turned in a "D" performance. The last-minute TD does not erase the preceding 58 minutes of ineptitude.

Luckily there's no grades in the NFL. It's judged by wins. Not grades on the wins. That win yesterday had the same grade as Tampa winning 38-7 yesterday.

Now you're moving the goal posts. "A win is a win" is not the same thing as being happy or joyful about what transpired yesterday, which is what this lame "call out my fellow fans" thread is all about. And anyone who is pleased should be checked for a lobotomy scar.

Every NFL team goes through funks. Either in one phase or the other.

The Saints defense has been a let down several times.

It just so happens that funk is the Offense with the Dallas Cowboys. Offense is sexier, so it's more obvious when things arn't going well.

And that's just it...offense is sexier! Dallas looked awful yesterday and needs to improve no doubt, but half the complainers woudn't be here today if the score had been 34-33. It's a media fed pereception that Dallas is suppose to be this high flying explosive offense, and they aren't. Instead they are a 7-3 ball club.
