Soccer isnt a bad sport after I started watching it.



If you don't have a favorite player or team its kinda tough but once you understand whats going on its a pretty cool sport.


Still doesn't compare to football.

Same with the gays wanting "in" on the Boy Scouts. The Boy Scouts don't "play" the gay thing. Go find another club to join, instead of insisting that THAT club change for you!!

We assume you joined this site to talk FOOTBALL. In paticular, Dallas Cowboy football. But football none the less. Why not just ***** and complain because no one is giving ballet or figure skating the same props as football on this forum? Because, that's about how much sense it makes bringing up soccer around here..................

Ethiostar rails on me because I told the truth and said that the only reason why soccer is "the most popular sport in the world" is because much of the world is Third-world dirt poor, and all you need is a foot and a coconut to play the game. There's millions and millions of people who have nothing better to do than to milk a goat and kick a rock around.

That is usually how it starts.

Nevermind the size dynamics. Football has some a wide variation of athletes. Darren Sproles running into Shaun Rogers is why American football's contact is so interesting. Or Marion barber running full speed into Patrick Willis. Thats just one down. In soccer's 'contact', two relatively similar sized guys flop into each other and whine like children.

They're more into the hunting and fishing stuff and don't care to spend any time playing football, basketball, or watching them.

Football only takes a ball and people as well. You don't have to have pads and all that stuff to play football or did you guys forget how you used to play backyard, sandlot, football without all the fancy equipment?
