I think maybe he was a bad draft pick. A Jerra pick, as usual. He does not know how a draft works.
Think about it? The kid has not even scored a TD!
Agreed. Too early to judge his full potential, and as Bum Phillips said, "Potential means you haven't done it yet".
BTW, gave you a "like" just for that Jim Morrison avatar.
But in GAMES he does nothing and Harris balls. Ok man.
like others are saying, Harris is not competing with Williams, he ultimately is competing with Miles for the slot. Williams is after the #2 spot
So now Harris is the 5th receiver. That isn't exactly accurate.
What you have is the X Y Z
Normally you're #1 and #2 are the X and Z
That's Dez and Miles
When you move a Y out there, Miles slips into the Y, and Williams becomes the Z.
The #2 Y is Cole Beasley. The #2 Z is Terrance Williams
Harris is the #3 Y, which ultimately makes him the 5th receiver.
APPARENTLY, he's beaten out Harris.....based on what?? Harris plays the slot, Williams plays outside..
So now Harris is the 5th receiver.
Ok
I don't see why Harris can't play the outside to be honest. I just feel like you have to get Harris on the field as much as possible because he makes plays for this team. Sure he doesn't have 4.2 speed and he's not 6'3 but the guy is a contributor.
The guy doesn't have the side or speed to excel on the outside. His best spot is in the slot, where he is well behind Miles Austin, and behind Cole Beasley.
Dez Bryant is our best receiver - makes him #1
Miles Austin is our 2nd best receiver - makes him #2
Terrance Williams is our 3rd best receiver - makes him #3
Cole Beasley is our 2nd best slot receiver - makes him #4 If Austin is hurt, Beasley replaces Austin in the slot. If Williams is hurt, Austin kicks back to the outside, and Beasley replaces Austin in the slot.
Dwayne Harris is our 3rd best slot receiver - makes him #5
