The number of people underestimating Dak in this thread is quite eye opening.
The number of people who watch the cowboys with unbiased homer eyes, is refreshing. The number of people underestimating Dak in this thread is quite eye opening.
Delusional.31 would give at a minimum a top 5 pick for Dak......has any of these fans lived through THE BASEBALL QBs, PELLEUR, LEAF, and CARTER?
Know your Cowboys history! Dak is a top league QB.
There can be no way you believe that. None.Dak is a bottom 15 qb.
That would be me. Being a Cowboys fan for almost 50 years has given me great insight into this wonderful game and perspective that makes it unbelievably simple to seperate fandom and homerism. The number of people who watch the cowboys with unbiased homer eyes, is refreshing.
There’s a difference between accomplishments and actual skill level. Dak came in the league with the number 1 o-line and running back. That means he went again 8 man boxes every week. Play action made the job even easier. He literally only played six games without them and struggled. Suddenly every receiver on the teams numbers dropped. There was a allpro receiver in the team. As soon! As Dak takes over, that all pros numbers dropped and suddenly he can’t do anything. Who threw all of these guys the ball? There can be no way you believe that. None.
Nothing will because he isn't a bottom half of the league QB. Not even close.nothing will make you see the light.
Ignorance feels like bliss. Go with that though. At least you’re happy in it. I’m done with this topic. Talking to brick walls is pointless.Nothing will because he isn't a bottom half of the league QB. Not even close.
Dak's passer rating when he threw to all targets minus Dez was over 100 last year in his "off" year.
That doesn't equate to a bottom half QB at all.
It's crystal clear those 2 weren't ever on the same page. This year we will easily see the return to his status as we saw his rookie year.
How many TDs did Romo throw in his first 2 years?
Tony needed 3 years of seasoning before he even saw the field yet some of our fans expect Dak to be 10-year veteran Pro Bowler Romo by year two.
Wow I must have struck a nerve.Ignorance feels like bliss. Go with that though. At least you’re happy in it. I’m done with this topic. Talking to brick walls is pointless.
Agree to disagree. He was a lucky QB until late last year.. opposition coaches have worked him out now. He was blessed with a championship level O-Line and RB and Probowl level TE/WR.. and still didn't manage a play off win. Dak also benefitted from the fact that scouts had planned for a Romo offense.. so they were guarding against the deep threat, and didn't quite know what to make of Zeke etc. Last season they had worked both aspects out and Dak struggled big time.Dak was a good QB until late last year. Gotta see how he bounces back this year. No excuses. If he is a franchise QB he will rebound.
Dak has great zip on his passes.I don't think Dak is a bottom 15 QB.. but he isn't a top 5 QB which is what we need.
You may not think he has a noodle arm.. and I am probably using the term incorrectly... I was meaning that he can't throw over 20 yards accurately, doesn't have zip on his passes and tends to float them high and wide and can't force the ball into tight targets on a consistent basis.. for me that makes you a noodle arm but I'm happy to agree to disagree.
I'm not actually sure if Dak could hit a hail mary play, distance wise, for a throw over 40 yards.
Amazing isn't it?.....We've got a 4th rd QB that has been in the NFL for two years, and in one of those years we went 13-3 and had another winning season his second year, yet some want to crucify him......I would also bet that not one QB in this next draft even comes close to duplicating that. The number of people underestimating Dak in this thread is quite eye opening.
lol, He's from Philly....likely just trolling.Wow I must have struck a nerve.
