Romo went down two seasons in a row. He tried to come back in 2015 and got re-injured. There’s no guarantee if he got the starting job back in 2016 the season would’ve ended differently or he would’ve stayed healthy. The dude was fragile at that point in his career. And as I remember, we had the lead in the 4th when the defense gave up a long pass that led to the game winning field goal. Having Romo in the line up wouldn’t have changed that.

I was devastated when they made the poor decision to move from Romo to him. Dak may have been an okay QB if given 3-4 years to develop as a #2, but he was no where near elite, which Romo certainly was. All the WRs suddenly suck now under Prescott? Romo had no problem with them.

Last touchdown Williams caught was from Romo... In the 2 years with Prescott, Williams has caught 3 touchdowns.

In 2014 alone he caught 8...

Nope they expect to see improvement. Not a guy whose mechanics went out the window season 2. Not a guy that when he pssed his receivers struggled to get YAC due to too many adjustments to his throws. A guy that can't see the whole field at times. A guy that needs 5 1st rounders on the OL for the offense to be Dak friendly, guy that needs a all pro RB to be dak friendly. With the team down by 14 with 6 minutes left to go do you expect him to put you in position to win? If so what percentage?

Entering year 3. While I don't think it's fair to say he has to be an elite QB this year, hopefully we see him take some steps forward in his progression on reads, mechanics etc.

Its funny that every fan base in the NFCE argues about their QB. I have not noticed it in all Fan forums outside of the NFCE. Dak has shown he is good enough to win games . If the defense was not so bad in 16 you guys would of had a nice run. Yes Dak had a bad year last year .... If anything it will help him . It will give him that drive he seemed to have lost in 17. Dak might not be an elite QB with the best arm ..... But he does not need it. Dak might not win you a Superbowl but you dam sure can win one with him .

I think this is were Wentz benefited in 16 vs Dak . Nothing went right for the Eagles .... his WRs were dropping everything. He had to work harder and put more on his shoulders. Dak it was like a perfect storm hence why he had THE best rookie season for a QB ever. Its easy to see why that could damper a young QB . He did not have to deal with injuries or missing key players. You add that all up then you have the coaching which was blah. I have said it multi times .... Cowboys had a SB caliber team since 2014 . Talent is there ... the staff just needs to do a better job at game time adjustments. The Offense despite talent got predictable.

Now the best thing for the team would be is get rid of the Red headed Clapping clown.... Then ban ANY Jones family member of holding GM powers or ability to make football decisions . We know that wont happpen . Which As an Eagles fan very grateful. and hope never happens. BTW the Dez thing was the right choice. Dak and Dez don't seem to have the right chemistry . Its a waste of both players talents if left alone. You cant fit a round peg into a square hole . Now the handling of it was for sure wrong . It was something that should of been down months ago. It not only hurt Dez's chance to go elsewhere for good money .... It could of easily hurt the team by prospects not wanting to come . Could be a reason Sammy Watkins did not come .... Sammy is a #1 why would he go to a team with on already on it.

1. Will be another wasted season? Hasn't happened yet, NOBODY knows that for sure, if you want to be a pessimist, fine, but change the "will be" to "I think"
2. He's another Tebow? Every see Tebow's stats? Tebow played in 35 games, Dak 32, so you can compare stats: Tebow 47.9% completion, Dak 65.2%. Tebow 17 tds, Dak 45. Tebow 2,422 yards passing, Dak 6,991. Dak is far and away the better passer.
3. T-Will is his number 1. Nope, Hurns will be that, they tried making Williams no. 1 when Dez went down, couldn't do it, why do you think they got Thompson as well as Hurns? He's T-Will's replacement by next year, if not this year.
4. This team is pathetic. Well, let's see, o-line issues, Zeke missed 6 games, T. Smith hurt most of the year, still got to 9-7, or 8-8 if they had laid down in the last game of 2017.

It's not as bad as you think, have at least a little faith!
