Reading these threads are like seeing a train wreck happening...you don't want to see it but you just can't look away.

Some people just have a knack for taking every little imperfection and making it appear as an insurmountable obstacle. Yes the Cowboys have a few problems; some of them will be fixed before camp is out and some of them will be worked with or around. Every team has weaknesses in this day and age; the trick is to minimize those weaknesses and work to improve.

While Parcells may not be the best gameday coach or game planner (and he isn't) he is very good at building teams and fielding a solid team. I have confidence that he will get the most out of what he has and this team will be able to compete against the other teams in the league; all of whom have their own sets of imperfections to deal with.

I LOVE MY COWBOYS

BUT

I hate the way this team was constructed...

A Washed up - un-Godly Slow QB - with a propensity for throwing the big INT (see the Seattle game last season)

A thrown together OL patched with beatup stiffs like Fabini and bloated do - nothings like Rivera....

Two 32 plus year old WR's One who is a complete headjob who took a crap on the Star NOT TOO LONG AGO! :bang2: One who has no respect for his teammates or coaches - the other WR is a Great Deep threat but has trouble taking the KO HIT over the middle due to him being only slightly taller than fire hydrant.

Then on the D Side aka the GOOD side we still have that GIANT hole at Cover Safety.

The offeseason? Where to start - the draft was BRUTAL - not that who we took aren't talented BUT we needed Top Shelf OL's ! TOP SHELF - especially with LA leaving and Rivera and Pettitti being slugs and Gurode getting leaped frogged against the NYG.

I have NO FAITH in this club and I'd be shocked if we won 6 games. I forsee the OL collapsing terribly and Tony Romo being put in by Week 7-8.

Is anyone really surprised by TO's antics? I mean really ...comeon...this had disaster written all over it. Andy Reid is a GREAT Coach and he couldn't handle this clown. Wakeup.

Dont forget to write about how you like the RESULTS! When the DALLAS COWBOYS are holding that Super Bowl trophy high above their heads!

You can look at the make up of the team like that. Or you can look at the nice mix of young players and Veterans. No team goes into the season with a team that is perfect. We have to just sit back and see what happens... Preseason is fun and at times feels like a cruel joke, because the season is close, but every day waiting seems like forever.....

I don't hate this 'team' but I am not thrilled with the OFFENSE. The OL is, and has been a question mark for several years, Bledsoe is nearing the end, Glenn is getting there as well. My concern is for the future of this team, not just this year or next.

No problem with the construction of the defense.

In the end (this year anyways), the Cowboys will be eliminated in large part due to the OL IMO (I could be wrong, but I've never been wrong before).

The defense is on their way, the construction of the offense is at a snails pace compared the defense.

I LOVE MY COWBOYS

AND

I love the way this team was constructed...

A Gun-slinging, borderline HOF QB - with a propensity for throwing the big TD (see the Carolina, Kansas City, San Diego games last season)

A great DL rotation built with such prospects as Chris Canty, Marcus Spears, Jason Hatcher. Plus a LB corp that might be the deepest in the league by season's end.

Two 32 plus year old star WR's one who is the best WR in the league when he's fully on (even though many shallow, narrow minded people can't get over the fact that he showboated on the star ) - the other WR was the best WR in the league last year who has NEVER shied away from taking the big hit.

Then on the D Side aka the GOOD side we have some exciting prospects at safety.

I have TONS OF FAITH in this club and I'd be shocked if we lost 3 games. I forsee the defense playing like maniacs and us resting our starters by week 14.

Is anyone really surprised by TO's antics? I mean really ...comeon...Philadelphia had disaster written all over it. Andy Reid is a LENIENT Coach and he couldn't handle this great WR. Fortunately coach Parcells is alot different.

Wake up.

Ya, no team is perfect, and even when one does look like it(see 2005 Colts) anyting can happen. 32 teams, 1 champion. With those odds you had better be able to embrace the good and the bad and just enjoy the ride.

I'm negative b/c all I read is negative on the Boys...I HOPE THE HELL I AM WRONG! But I see no positives outta camp! NONE! It's all doom and gloom and quite frankly none of you can disoute what I said about our OL....and QB - it's a fact not to mention our 2 WR's are OLD...

So don't give me this crap about negativity - I deal in reality...

Translated...All I read is Randy Galloway, and that chick "Little Balls of Hate", Jen Floyd Engle, and I bow to the feet of Dale Hanson. And what they say is the truth given to these great writers and all mighty TV and radio gods straight from the mouth of the football god himself.

Therefore I can actually stop using my brain and stop thinking for myself and drink from the well of Cowboy Hate filled with the excrement of the media lords.

Reality?...far from it. You deal with speculation.

I guess we will see soon enough about the direction of this club, I think your way off base but you’re entitled to your opinion. As far as TO I have not seen any antics from him at this stage and even though I was and still am against the signing I have yet to see or hear TO do anything that would be harmful to this team in terms of causing conflict or disruptions
