And the Ex-Lax club just keeps growingphillycowboyslover;4104006 said:I love Tony Romo, but he makes it so hard to keep defending him.
This is EXACTLY his MO. Great games....great stats....HUGE MISTAKES in the BIG moment. And often, absolutely UGLY gut punch mistakes when they happen (see INT tonight).
Make no mistake. He is a really, really, really good QB. There are only 2 or 3 NFL QB's I'd rather have over him right now. But he needs to start coming through in the clutch to ever be remembered as great.
Right now he's the Danny White of the 2000's.

Not to derail the thread, but during the offseason I watched every Cowboys game from 1980-84.DWhite Fan;4104460 said:Your are in dire need of a whole box of Ex_Lax
Get a clue...
Landry gave into the media and some so-called "fans" like some that have posted in this thread tonight. It was the worst mistake Tom Landry made in his career in my opinion. Just totally wasted the 1984 season...windward;4104482 said:Not to derail the thread, but during the offseason I watched every Cowboys game from 1980-84.
White was a damn good qb and I have no idea why he was ever benched for Hogeboom.

I was very young when this happened and had not viewed the games previously.DWhite Fan;4104495 said:Landry gave into the media and some so-called "fans" like some that have posted in this thread tonight. I think it's the level of excellence he displays so often that makes his bonehead plays all the more unbearable. He goes from one of the best in the game to a throwing a head scratcher in the blink of an eye.
He will bounce back. He always does. But will we find ourselves right back in this same spot in the not too distant future?

These next 3 weeks will make or break our season

Until he wins the SB I will no longer trust him
Hey let's trade him for Big Ben!!! Oh wait... 5 turnovers!! Ahhhh!Blustarz23;4102461 said:well tony just lost the game for us
InmanRoshi;4105470 said:Romo is flawed, perhaps critically flawed, and simultaneously he 100% provides our best opportunity to win for this season and likely for the next 2 or 3.
We would not have even been remotely in that game without Romo.Blustarz23;4102461 said:well tony just lost the game for us
