I have a good feeling about our O-line next year

He's been hurt, twice.

Which matches every time the team has actually used him. Face facts.

By that same token we should have gotten rid of Sean Lee, Tyrone Crawford, DeMarcus Lawrence, Romo and Dez a long time ago.

Sure thing. You jump for reductio ad absurdum in your attempts to deny the fact that Dunbar is hurt every time he's actually out on the field.

He's a waste of time.

I am the biggest Elliott jock sniffer here but I ain't taking him at #4 and theres not a snowballs chance in Hades he slides past the Texans. I believe Henry will be on the board at #34 but I suspect that pick will go defense. Now if we pass up Alex Collins in the third round my head will explode.
no,no.....2nd rounder..just.TE!!!!!!!!:lmao::lmao2::muttley:

I like our RB corp right now if Turbin keeps it up and Dunbar comes back healthy and McFadden stays healthy.

McFadden was extremely effective as the starter, especially when they got his carries to 15-20 a game with Turbine getting 5-10 carries.

With Turbin, he played the role well last year as he could get right into the game and get going instead of having to get some carries to get in a rhythm.

And Dunbar is a great receiving threat that can be inserted on 1st and 2nd down, get some mismatches and get 3-5 carries and be very effective.

Part of the reason why I want Lynch is that we can run some read option with him and that will make things even more difficult for opposing defenses and help the running game even more.

I like it too. Add a late round back who everyone is sleeping on and let him challenge Dunbar and Turbin for a spot. They want to go with McFadden anyways.

RB can be addressed Round 3-5. Im more worried about QB. Cause if u ain't got one it don't matter who the RB is.

We have a QB just have to keep him healthy and the best way is a solid, consistent running game. We saw in 2014 what a great running game does that features a back that everyone is trying to stop. A great running game that can keep the chains moving takes pressure off your QB and your defense. To get the most out of our OL we need to complement it with a solid young runner.

Thing is no matter how good the Oline is, QB's gonna get hit. No way getting around that. The shots that Broke Tony's collarbone were pretty tame compared to what I see other guys take. Denver killed Brady. Power drived him to the turf and he shook it of ..

There's no quarterback in this draft that's going to come right in and make us a contender if Romo goes down. Especially with this playbook. That doesn't mean don't address it but if they address it will be for the future not now.

You get a Rook and a Capable back up.

QBs are going to get hit and take sacks regardless how good their OL is but if you have a talented game changing back that defenses have to respect it takes some pressure off your QB. Everyone says the passing game opens up the running game which is true but the running game can also open up your passing game. When you have a great back it opens up play action pass which leads to some big plays down the field. Romo put the ball up 45 times in the opener more than in any game in 2014 due to not having a running game. Neither Randle or McFadden ran the ball well so we had to put it up. Romo was on pace for another 40+ passing attempt game when he got injured in Philly. He was back having to carry the offense like he did during our 8-8 seasons which is why we went 1-11 without him.

A solid, well coached team doesn't go 4-12 losing their QB for 12 games. One publication had the Cowboys #1 in run blocking and #5 in pass protection. It was the way Romo landed on his shoulder that caused his collarbone to break vs Philly. It wasn't as much the hit but the way he landed with the defender driving his shoulder into the turf. On the re break vs Carolina it didn't take much at all to break it again because the bone wasn't fully healed. As brittle as Romo has become we must have a running game he can lean on so he doesn't have to carry us to wins every week or he won't stay healthy.

Naw, that's what Tony Romo does...passes. Tunsil would put up an offensive iron curtain when added to the line.

Go and find a tackle in the 2nd or 3rd round you you really need one. You shouldn't have to use EVERY draft pick you have in the 1st round to obtain one. For a left tackle okay. Late in the 1st round for a center? Okay. Mid round for a guard? Not happy about that but a perennial 1st Team linemen? Okay. But that should be it. That's insane using the 4th pick in the draft as a right tackle. NO one in their right mind would do it. That's as silly as the Titans taking Goff with the 1st pick in the draft.

You cannot afford or do u need all pros across the OL. We could have had a great running game this year if we hadn't abandoned it the minute it began to produce every flippen gane

Agreed. I have no problem with adding a late round pick. Even as early as the 3rd round if we really have somebody there that is higher rated than everybody else.

With a Romo friendly offense that requires Romo to carry it we can't even find experienced veteran QBs who can keep us a afloat so good luck finding a rookie QB who can. If we take a QB high in the draft we're going to have to start tailoring the offense some to allow them to have some success to build their confidence.

That, pedestrian fellow, is my dream as well.
But knowing Sir Jerry the "football guy," he'll pick a safety or linebacker with the first pick. Yes, it's enough to drive me straight to the after-hours pub in Birmingham.

Well i'd like to hope that' the case but I doubt that happens until Romo is off this team.

Ramsey in the first.
Henry in the second.
Next 4 rounds - QB/DT/LB/CB in whatever order gets us the most talent.

I hope the front office does not select Ramsey. That would be a disaster. QB, RT, WR, DE, LB, or DT should be the first pick.

What stereotypes? You are a team with needs and you are going to use your biggest asset to get another linemen? Your o offensive line is dominant. Top 5 in the league. You are telling me that's smart to invest in a position that you already have? When you have your defense looking as pitiful as it does?

First off, BPA works when all other rules are dysfunctional...the buck doesn't stop beyond. No matter how many excuses are drubbed up.
