LOL. #4 WR.

This is why no one takes your Dez positions seriously.

It's ok. Dez knows he's only a number 4. I'm not trying to pursuade you guys of anything. It must be hard on Dez right now. (Cut to video of Dez with route guru).

In all seriousness half his salary needs to go. He just isn't worth the price we are paying him. Just not worth it. I've always rooted for Dez but he's too expensive for what he can do now, he's not getting any younger ya'll...kind of past his prime IMO. It is what it is....

Let’s be honest though a part of that is not having Romo and the type of offense we’re running. Since 2014 Dez only appeared in 4 games with Romo. I’ve repeated many times if Dez is released and goes to a team like the Pats his numbers will far exceed what he’s produced with Dak health permitting. Those back door fades they’ve been missing on will be TDs with Brady.

This is no knock on Dak but the chemistry between he and Dez hasn’t been there and this offense doesn’t get the most out of Dez. His skills have declined some but if he’s on the right team with the right QB and can regain his focus he’ll have a productive season. Book it!
How long do you think BB would tolerate Dez' childish temper tantrums because he wasn't targeted enough?

Dez is our new #4 WR. He might as well be compensated accordingly. Hurns, Beas, Draft Pick, Dez.

Trade your number 4 WR to Green Bay for a 5th or 6th round pick then. Or maybe to the Eagles for the same draft compensation.

Somehow...I think this entire board would be SICK to their stomachs if Dez excels with those QBs.

I think you would be surprised how little Dez would throw temper tantrums. Pretty sure the Pats would be creative and get him a lot of targets.

If Dez got released regardless what team he goes to I believe he’ll change his ways. It’s very humbling for a player to get released especially one who some think is washed up. He’ll be out to prove he still has it. You can tell all the negative talk about him this offseason is bothering him. Dez would certainly know better than to create an issue in NE and cross up Belichick. Playing for the Pats with Brady at QB would be a great opportunity for him to compete for a championship.

If he’s released and doesn’t perform well for his next team he won’t be around much longer. Dez may not be the brightest bulb but he knows his career could be on the line before long. If he’s not producing and is creating a distraction he won’t have a career for much longer. Reports are he’s working hard on his routes so he knows what’s at stake.

Good post @KJJ
& you put it in the ' X' @500 yds.
But,Man! that off season "remedial practical application" towards his craft is 5-7 years in reality of his rearview mirrorso_O
( he is a baller & a fine footballish physical specimen if ever there was one,he could ,,,in theory,,,extend his career another 3-5 years should he break bad in a * new&improved* model #88 A-2 Dez version of,,,er,,,Dezo_O)

Or laugh because Dez isn't very effective there either. But I'm sure it would be the QBs fault because Dez is infallible.

There is zero doubt that the light bulb (however dim it might be) has come on and Dez knows he is in trouble.

I think we probably need let DEZ go and replace him with someone less expensive and younger. There’s always a newer better model coming out the next year

All the negative talk about him this offseason especially from HOF players has been a wake up call for him. He’s working on his routes and admitted that he allows things to get in his head and bother him. He’s come to grips with a few things that he’s been in denial over.

Players like Dez in his prime don’t come along every year and it’s not easy positioning yourself in the draft to get a player like that. You can’t just replace him with anyone.
