Now that it looks like TO is coming here I see the backtracking has begun.

Spare us the drama.

Just admit that you realize it's a good signing and most people who aren't romantically inclined feel the same way.

Oh Dayum!

Honestly I would rather have Eric Moulds if he gets free from the Bills. But Drama? You think this is drama? Obviously the word is lost on you if you don't think that brining TO to Dallas will not cause drama. Sheesh!
No baktracking. I still feel the same way about the guy. Just that I think with everyhting else going on in the league we have to have some response.

No, I understand quite well that signing TO is going to bring drama.

You just demonstrated it.

You feel sick?

Gimme a break. Overdramatization at its finest.

Owens is a great signing and its not some personal insult to have him here helping us win.

He's not going to wreck our team because we're not the Eagles and we don't have a wanker of a QB. And not a single living Cowboy would remain "offended" that he danced on the star if he comes here and helps us win a Super Bowl. That's just romantic drama that people are making up.

Whatever. And when the cancer spreads after the SB you can be the first in for chemo.

Gladly.

Rings are more important. We should be so lucky to have TO act like an arsehole and get cut in exchange for a Super Bowl ring.

What a shame that would be! To have to suffer a 6-10 season after getting a ring out of it first.

But its irrelevant; our team is not the Eagles and Owens will not be able to tear us apart the same way. I live in Philly and the dude ripped this team apart for one reason: Because he had a beef with the QB and most of the rest of the team didn't trust the QB either; it divided the locker room into camps because half of them didn't want to side with Donovan because he's a putz. I suspect it was similar in SF.

It won't be like that here because Bledsoe is not a wet blanket.

Now go back to heaving over the toilet, Nancy.

mschmidt64, congratulations you are the latest winner of the HOLIER-THAN-THOU award.

In recognition of your "I am superior to you" attitude, you have won....

Why don't you spare us the drama and get off of your high-horse.:bang2:

After watching the rest of the division get markedly better I think TO is one of the big guns that can neutralize some of that. Honestly, without a big playmaker WR, we probably are not going to do much next year. We need TO and a revamped OLine and we are in good shape.
Add Vinitieri and McGinest and go BPA in the draft and we are looking as good if not better than anyone in the league.

Excuse me, I have to go thow up now. :puke:

I feel you. I have done nothing but talk about the evils of TO being here to my friends...but I suddenly find myself on the edge of my seat waiting for him to be cut so that we can bring him in...

maybe I've had too many beers, but I suddenly feel that he gives our team that edge that we have not had.

Funny to see how people are givin in now that T.O seems more likely he'll be a Cowboy. and if he does become a Cowboy, theres no other than root for him!

Go Dallas!!

It's like sitting around in a room someone just farted in. After a while, you don't mind so much.

Here's a (long) interesting bio on TO. It stops just short of him dismantling the Eagles. Keeping this guy feeling respected is going to be a full-time job. I do think Jones and Parcells might be the only FO in sports that's up to the task.

I agree with this. People here make TO out to be Jack the Ripper. He isn't even Rae Carruth, Ray Lewis or Sean Taylor. The guy has never broken the law, he's an all-star athlete and a difference maker.

Dude...the fact that you put ST in the same sentence with Rae Carruth is pretty bad. The dude spit on a couple people and is accused (by some random Miami thugs) of waving a gun in their face. Its pretty ***** up to compare him to a convicted murder of a pregnant woman.

As to the topic of the thread; I am hoping TO goes to Dallas. It would be a blessing to see the Boys get torn apart by him, just like San Fran and just like Philthy. Sure, he'll put up some numbers...but at what cost?

If I were you, I'd hope Tuna decides to turn him down; he's excellent in the draft...I'd be praying he decides to get a receiver there.

You should *totally* tell ST that people are comparing him to Rae Carruth. That way, the two of them can talk to each other about how unfair the comparison is or isn't for the next 10-15 years.

If I were you, I wouldn't get too close to ST when you tell him, though. He'll probably try to spit in your face.

And all these that want that idiot will be the first ones to run and hide- ro say I told you so- when the 3 yr old inside that moron comes out and throws
his first tantrum. Then the next. Then the next.
TO is like a scorpion: a scorpion will sting you because that is his nature.
To will sting you because that is his nature.

What really makes anyone think he'd want to sign with us? He wouldn't be the clearcut #1 WR here with Johnson and Glenn around.

Terry's going to compete with him for #1 :lmao:

Key's going to compete with him for #1 :lmao2:

Key & Glenn are better then Rod Smith:lmao: :lmao2:

Oh please I'm going to laugh myself to death, some of the funniest things I've ever heard uttered, let along honestly believed by the second party saying it. If I see this playing out anyway...Key and Glenn are shaping up or shipping out. Those will be the options Parcells will eventually have to lay on the table for these two soon to be disgruntles when they start their annuanl whinefest to the media. People will be daydreaming of yesteryear and the uncomplicated childish behavior AB brought to our table...we'll miss it and wish it was that simple compared to what those two are going to turn into.

Just the simple suggestion that those two may not be "number 1 WR" material by Irvin last year, threw both of them into a whirlwind. Key couldn't find enough radio and tv shows to spout off after that one...well just wait until everything Irvin was saying starts dwarfing into reality right before their eyes and this all starts to settle in as plain truth in their minds. Do Key and Terry just sit on that bench with a niceguy smile across their mugs? Yeaaaaaaa, that will be the day.
:lmao:

Crayton will need his playing time...not gonna be only in 3wr sets AND not going to be Owens taking a seat. Do you hear the rumbles yet?

Game on the line, only one man can get the ball, Witten and Julius have been kept back to block, who does Bledsoe immediately see, the guy who gets tackled almost right away everytime unless he's wide open(Glenn), or the guy who can't get separation if his very life depended on it(Key), or the one guy who routinely beats double coverage, never lets himself get tackled easily and can take it to the house on any given toss? Can you hear Bledsoe in the huddle yet? Can you hear what he's saying to Terry and Key as they whine over and over "throw me the damn ball"? Do you see Bledsoe backing down? Do you see the rest of the guys in the huddle rolling their eyes just thinking "shut the ____ up, terry and key"? Now don't you just see TO loving this and defending his QB? I do.

Terry and Key will be the reasons why this will work here in Dallas for TO. I mean perhaps their behaviour won't be "that bad" when measured against their past sins, but rest assurred that whatever it turns out to be, and it will be something, that TO will use it to his advantage.
