Why is he so afraid to keep doing things when they are working? Why does he have to get so damn cute all the time? The middle of the zone was wide open all day and yet he everyone running corner and sideline routes. When we finally went down the middle late in the game, it worked almost every time.

We gashed Baltimore for what, 6 YPC in the first half and he refused to stick with the run. He also thinks he has to run those weird looking draw plays (that fool no one after the first 3 times you run it).

Because he sucks! But your analysis on why the middle was open late game was due to the fact baltimore was basically playing a prevent.

Sometimes he does stick with it. The first 13 games of last season he was pretty good at taking what the defense gave him and we saw games where we threw the ball to the same spot over and over until the defense stopped it (St. Louis and New York, especially).

You do what is working that particular night, and you do it until you are forced to change.

I agree the middle of the field has been Romo's bread and butter the last few seasons.

last year Garrett was just as predictable

pass for a ****load in the 1st half

and then run in the 2nd

We did the exact opposite against New York

Garrett has been bad dating back to last year. He thinks he is Norv Turner runing the 93 Cowboys. He doesnt adjust, he doesnt adapt, he just expects that the play will work no matter what.

that's Jason Garrett

only switching up when you absolutely have to, then it's back to the same ole

notice we haven't used a New York game-plan much at all this year? it's the same throw a ****-load of passes

Even so, last year he wasnt trying to force a square peg in a round hole

Garrett seems to have no confidence in the running game, even when it is working. The only time he likes to run is when he has a big lead.

that is true, but then again his system wasn't quite figured out last year, and we had all this talent

Last year, in the first game against Philly, we threw all sorts of short passes. That play where Romo hit Crayton after the adjustment on the blitz was a thing of beauty.

Garrett is good for one game a year... Then he goes back to his crap...

Jason doesn't get Romo into a rhythm.. He waited 3QTRs before he started using the short passing game. That is what pissed me off the most.. Also when Choice was gashing the Ravens he quit giving him the ball.. The problem with Garrett is that he isn't patient with the run. Hell Choice had some 2 or 3 yard runs along with his big yard gains, then he just stops handing the ball off. His problem is that he always wants the big play. Jason doesn't want to dink and dunk and grind it out..Notice when we were stuffing the Ravens they didn't give up on the run. And holes started to open up.

Hell and we added more talent with Roy11, Felix, Bennett, and Choice.

I don't think it's so much teams have figured him out, I think it's just that he has an elitist attitude that makes him think he can run whatever he wants and have it work, even if it hasnt before.

all Ds have to do is hold up our WRs, and blitz like crazy

cuz we're never going to screens, slants, drags or crosses
