Wentz definitely gets too much attention around here for my liking. But that's because we have a some fans up in the NE part of the country who believe the Eagles hype every season. The fact that they happen to largely be the same group that is unwilling to give the Cowboys any benefit of the doubt just makes it more irritating than it probably has to be.

Must be farther north than southern Maryland.

Wentz has a defense that can hold a lead, so he doesn't have to do a whole lot to get the job done.

Let's be honest, it's possible Dak & the offense will have to score 3-4TDs (or more) to make up for the weak defense.

So Dak WILL have to do more and be more amazing in order to win

That was anecdotal, btw. I just know when it comes up in other threads that a lot of times the guys who beef around here the most do it because they're surrounded by PHI and NYFG fans and they get tired of hearing all the negative Cowboy criticisms those fans spew uncontrollably.
They get so tired they...uh regurgitate them word for word and beat people over the head with them. Odd reflex that.

Seems like Wentz is benefitting from having a good defense and we'll designed offensive plays. Watching a few of their games, the commentators made mention of how creative the plays were in regard to getting receivers open.

What? Two or three passes could have been picked? Only QB on this board who seems to have these pointed out are Dak. By the way, PFF just said today the same Rayne Dakota Prescott is the one NFL qb who has NOT thrown an intercept-able pass in the Regular season.
Hence why he technically leads the league in Total Quarterback Rating.

His is 20 points higher that Wentz's.....20 points!!!!

I can believe that and I actually said the other day to someone that I can barely think of a single throw he has made where the receiver wasn't wide open. We are scheming the heck out of them.

That hasn't been the case thus far. The offense and defense have gone hand in hand and the defense hasn't been nearly as bad as everyone said they would be despite not having a pass rush.

How hard can it be to defense the Eagles offensive attack. They have receivers that are average. if I am a defensive coordinator I am jamming those guys all night at the line of scrimmage. Let them beat me deep. Take away the short stuff from Wentz. Can't believe Pittsburghs defense is that horrible that they could not figure it out. Teams are making Wentz look like the next greatest thing with this short passing game. Get some pressure on him and jamb the guys at the line and you will beat him.

EaGirls fans are saying Dak has it easier due to our OL and better skill players, Cowboys fans are saying Wentz has it easier due to having better defense.

Both are correct and both players have been playing extremely well. One thing going for us is that it didn't cost us much to get Dak and he's going to only cost us something like 2.5 Mill for next 4 years. Hopefully we can give Dak a better defense than what Romo had to work with most of his career.

Imagine what would have happened if the Eagles stayed put, Elliott fell to them with the 8th pick, they picked up Sterling Shephard in the 2nd, Dak in the 4th and still had their other picks and also managed to ship off Bradford for a 1st and 4th.

There's something we lack from your recipe.

You're not suggesting that our coaching staff doesn't design plays well, are you?????
