Hope you guys are staying dry and are being safe..... This past month has been insane with rain. We had the Potomac river crest over 23 feet about 10 days ago. Berkeley County had to call a state of emergency.... We had half the county streets closed at once for over a week. I have found a new respect for my profession as of late.... Trying to make deliveries in such was interesting..... Google mapping out what roads were open and closed to see if I could make the trip.... lol
Wow... I can't even remember what rain looks like. Stay safe!

Lol!! I'm still here! Drying out after all this rain. Started up again. A couple of hours ago. Not too hard though

lol, sounds good. putty found an ideal place to live and retire.
it as beautiful coastline like california.
it has california weather but at least half the country is far from any major earthquake fault.
it has great seafood and lots of fish like garoupa and snapper and squid.
it is in europe but mostly been free of the mess with the refugees.
and is one of top 10 safest countries in the world.
living standard is probably half of most of cali.
summers are very nice though winters are rainy.
so ideal from may to oct, inclusive.

Where is it and when can I come visit
portugal.
northern portugal shore is like san francisco that is far from any major quake fault.
it has #2 biggest city - porto
southern portugal is like los angeles but is within 120 miles of huge fault that rarely triggers a quick.
it has the capital and largest city in lisbon.

putty really likes portugese food, particularly the seafood.
i am looking into spending a couple months a year there.
still have to get my china stuff straight first -lots of delays etc.

here is a pic of southern portugal beach
from a website on portugal nude beaches, which are apparently plentiful in the south.

Good luck with your search. That place looks great. Maybe you can move to Panama and look for Haley. Later, bro. Gonna hit the hay.

Putty? Can I come with? I promise to wear red, rub on plenty of butter too. The scenery there is spectacular.

Beautiful! I remember traveling around the Algarve many years ago and thinking, "what a hidden gem". Helps if you enjoy seafood and port. :)
