He's doing great, Scalper. He made honor role at his school and gets his certificate this Friday, I'll be there with the ex, so wish me luck :)

The thing that kills me about that movie is that it's such a great build up only come crashing down on you when the boy commits suicide.

It parallels Robin's own life a little too much for me. Guy had so much left to give us. Que sera sera.

No luck needed bro. Two proud parents there to celebrate their beautiful boy, my man. Keep that mindset and it's all good. I don't know how your ex is towards you but if she starts to stir the pot just remind her why your BOTH there and you'll both come out the other side alright, brother.

Congrats to your son, BTW (the most important part of your post to begin with)!

Thank you, Scalper. You are absolutely right. Our little Bradley is all that matters, and it should stay focused on that.

Depending on the week, we get along great or are at each other's throats lol

Doin' good, Trouty. I had the same issue with my ex-wife, bro. I didn't see my son for years over that ****. We finally realized (and we were BOTH at fault) that the only thing that mattered was our son. We weren't doing him or ourselves any favors by being stubborn, selfish *******s. Since then we've gotten along great. I consider her and her husband to be friends. She's got a beautiful family of her own and I couldn't be happier for her.

I hope something similar falls that way for you, brother. It's absolutely liberating and the best, in the long run, for EVERYONE involved. Good luck to ya on that front, my man.

We've been apart from each other for 3 years now (meaning, no off and on shenanigans; it's been quite longer from our first, original, split). We've co-parented nicely, but lately it's been more rocky.

Yeah it took quite a while for us to get to that place, bro. I saw my kid maybe 4 times in a period of about 3 years. It was awful. Just freaking awful and I missed out on so much. I'm wishing you the best, bro. You're WAY ahead of where I was at, so, if we could fix it, you can too. I have no doubt.
