The Cowboys organization
Yes their mouth pieces. Most of them have roots with the team and can't allow losing their connections. They rely on those contacts. Consequently they'll carry Jerry's water. What a waste. If they are all saying that I have a hard time believing they aren't being fed their lines.

I was curious about what the Eagles' post game reaction was. I watched it and they were merciless. Seth Joyner broke off a bad one on Hurts and Siriani. They blamed Siriani and the OC and DC and basically said if you can't hack it, you gotta go.

....While Cowboys media keeps backing McCarthy regardless of what happened Sunday.

They are employed by the Cowboys. Expecting them to talk like we do here is unrealistic.

No one is going to get themselves fired to appease this forum, and no one here would do so either. It would be foolish.
Exactly................Jerry signs their paycheck.

They are going to toe the company line or else they will find themselves unemployed pretty dam fast.

That is why I stopped listening to those shows, total waste of time if you want real analysis.

We have a dumb and stubborn owner who is surrounded by a dumb and stubborn media who never hold his feet to the fire.

Nothing will change until Jerry is dead but it appears that his son is jus as much a doofus as dad is when it comes to football matters.
Lol
He ain’t dumb at all
He knows how to make money
It’s simply Too risky to rebuild
A few 4-13 seasons and our revenue goes down

Good point.

If you have two options, and the first is to keep winning 10-12 games a year and lose in the 1st or 2nd round or do a total rebuild and win 5 games each year for several seasons.

Which option do you think Jerry is going to pick?

Now you know why Fat Mike has not been fired yet.

Are they really backing him or do they just think McCarthy is staying because we have a dumb owner?

I've not heard much of anyone saying at this point that McCarthy is the right guy for the job moving forward.
they just aren't pushing back much if at all, the local radio and tv media. Its real sad because they know the truth but must be careful of what they say and how they say it. Job security.
That’s one of the reasons why I like the Fan. They DO push back and say the things we all think. I have heard more than one of them say that Jerry is a problem. And, yes, very rare in the media, especially one on which Jones himself appears weekly!!!

Agreed, even on DC.com stuff which I actually like, esp the show w church and McCray and one w Jesse Holley and newton. They were not all for fat mike returning by any means.

Read the tea leaves Jerry is going to run it back. Nothing is going to happen and Jerry will try to fool you again. Don't fall for the ruse. This is the lowest I have felt as a fan.
If I were a player I'd too back Fat Mac. Why would players want to replace Capt. Cupcake?
The alternative would be consequences for non performances and hard, hard work.

Not unless someone hires him or we fire him since he’s under contract
I think we will hear a mutual parting of ways soon. I don't see any way he's returning.......in fact, I don't think he wanna return.

Doubt it, there is no reason to keep him in limbo while coaching interviews are going on. He will be back unfortunately.

I don't blame McCarthy for our poor play. I blame Jerry/Stephen, Dak and Dan Quinn.
If the GM/owner and his kid did their jobs we'd have a real GM.
If Dan Quinn did his job he would have made sure the defense could stop the run.....and if he didn't have the players then it goes back to Jerry/Stephen.
Dak falls apart in almost every big game the Cowboys play. He needs to go.
Quinn had a horrible gameplan no doubt on Sunday, but he just didn’t have the dogs at LB. A smart organization that's in win-now mode would’ve done SOMETHING at the trade deadline, but they "liked their guys." It's just a catastrophic organizational failure on all ends. McCarthy's gameplay was weak but the QB was horrific at execution and folded in big games like usual; this probably explains Lamb's frustrations because he knew what was coming early on in the game.

I'm done. They run this back I'm not wasting my time. This GM/HC/QB combo sucks.
It is a very discouraging trio.
The HC and QB have reached their performance level ceilings.

The GM is still the same GM.

But let's run it back anyway.

I don't see it T..........let's put it this way. Even if he doesn't get HC offer, I'm 100% confident he can/will get DC from another team and will likely ask to be released from the last year on his Cowboy deal. Why........it's simple, a new 3-5 contract with another team is better than staying another year with a lame-duck coach. Not to mention.........Dak, Quinn or MM, one has to go. Jerry can't run all three back. (lol)

Honestly won’t give a **** about the team next season if MM stays. I won’t expect anything less than losing in the playoffs per usual.
