I love how the Lions game ended

Not only did the Cowboys win, but a flag was thrown in their favor to preserve it. The refs didn't have to do anything. They could've left the flags in their pockets and the Lions win. Instead, the flags came out. Despite the Lions protestations, and even an ounce of common sense, the call went the Cowboys way and they won.

The "refs are out to get us" crowd turns into the greatest defenders of refs the world has ever seen. "Of course the call was right! How could anyone see anything else?" Meanwhile, had the roles been reversed we'd have 20 pages of threads announcing "proof" of an anti-Cowboys conspiracy, taking away our winning two point play.

It couldn't have played out any better. "The refs are out to get us, but not this time. They got this game-changing call right. Good job, refs."

Unintentional comedy and a Cowboys win. A perfect night.
If it wasn't for a complete disaster of a tripping call we'd never have even experienced the conversion nonsense.

It was great win imo. The conspiracy thing went out the window last night.
We're lucky refs made calls, that went in our favor.
Another point, Henderson was called for tripping. Imo, that bs call. They never showed it on replay. That call hurt Dallas closing out the game.
Which led to final drive.

I totally agree. And the Lions had THREE separate violations on the play. Maybe the curse is lifted now that Jimmah is in the Ring. Overall, we played lousy. Even so, the game shouldn't have come down to a screwup by the Lions. CeeDee's fumble was one score, A couple of other mis-throws by Dak probably would have given us another. I am MOST LIVID ABOUT THE FAKE PUNT. Sure it can happen once, but this is TWICE this season our special teams aren't ready for that.

I think the Lions tried to get too cute with the (false) reporting. Three players reported, but two were unnecessary. That sounds like the Lions were trying to be sneaky and it came back to bite them in the rear.

They still had two other chances to win or tie the game. Campbell still went for two on the 7 yard line. That's not being aggressive, that's being idiotic.

He could have taken the game tying extra point. The outcome may have changed. This one is on Campbell and not the refs. Lions tried to be cute and sneaky. Sucks to be them. Don't do that chit anymore.

That kind of blows up the premise of the thread of "let's rub it in the zoners faces".

No because our coach just about lost the game for us with his inability to understand clock management. He’s going to cost us an important game. So no I do not love how this ended.

Said this in a thread last night, he will be the reason we are ousted from the PO, absolutely the worst when it comes to game management period. When you are your own worse enemy, tough to overcome.

Now when the refs miss a call in the next game or in the playoffs people will bring up the Lions game.

If the refs are screwing games, they are screwing games

Whether it benefits the cowboys or not, they are paid professionals and need to do their jobs.

If the refs are the cause of a team winning or losing because of either incompetence or because they got the call to give one team a boost, it's a HUGE problem and it's something that's making less interested in the game. They did it in the NBA and Donahy, an NBA ref, confirmed it, and it's looking the same in the NFL.

If fixed football is your cup of tea, then by all means, enjoy.

Had they made the correct tripping call against Detroit, the 2 point pla would have never happened. So we did get robbed on the Hendersot tripping.

i’m a big fan of yours, this is a weird post though
Not really....it's 100% spot on.

Put ur hand on the Good Book...and say in ur heart of hearts you think the narrative in here wouldn't be Scorched Earth if that had been US on the receiving end of that.

Why can't people just say "hey, we lucked out!" instead of going thru this farce that there wouldn't be a million threads about this being rigged and wrong if this had been us? Just enjoy the gift
