On replay though.I believe NFLN.
They should. The first half should see most of the starters having significant playing time
On replay though.
If past preseason games are any indication, Carroll will have Russell out there well into the 3rd Qtr. Meanwhile, we'll probably have Showers playing by then. Some coaches get drunk on the scoreboard numbers, even in preseason.
Everyone talks about SEA d like the first 2 D's we played were below average. Both of those D's are pretty good D's too. I actually think the SEA D line is not has good as either of the DL we have already faced. So playing Romo would not concern me in the least. Play him a full Q maybe Q and 1/2 and then turn it over to Dak to the end of the 3rd Q and give the 4th Q to Showers. If you see the DL is killing the OL in the beginning, throw Dak out there sooner.
It's unbelievable how soft some of you guys are
Romo hasn't played since thanksgiving...not including last week
You can't just expect him to hit the ground running on the word go...he needs reps..he hasn't been sharp the last two season openers..these are the best players in the world..you dont just hop out of bed and hit form
We have the best line in footbal..with a QB that needs reps...
Give it to him ...put your panties away
I know this may sound crazy but I know what romo can do. I want to see dak vs. that defense
Tony 36 + Injury prone. I don't play him but 2 series. There's no reason to risk a 36 year old injury-prone QB. Now if Tony were 29 + not injury prone, I play him 3 quarters. We all know what Romo can do, he's not going to get better or worse in this game, get him ready for the Giants and the year.
Meanwhile, I do play the rest of the guys for 3 quarters, maybe not Tyron since he's banged up.
On replay though.
That snowball only applies to the clueless.
He is not a threat to Romo's job and won't be until he either gets hurt again or hangs up his cleats.
That is the only drawback to what has become an incredible debut for him.
Dak has been great in the preseason, but to think he can take over for Romo now is ridiculous.
I agree for two reasons. The first is what you have said, the second is to protect Romo. In my perfect world, Romo plays the whole season.
Yeah people are being rather arrogant when it comes to Romo. He's our #1 and we need to see what he can do against that defense. When can worry about Dak later.
Young QBs have been successful in this league in recent years. This ain't 1970!
