Dak has been great in the preseason, but to think he can take over for Romo now is ridiculous.

We arent winning the SB with Romo this year and we arent winning it with Dag this year.

I always hate the dress rehearsal games. I spend the whole time worrying we're going to lose a starter. It's not fun to watch because the game doesn't count and they don't game plan it. Give me the backups and let me see more what we're working with and just get me to the regular season, thanks.

I especially don't like playing good defenses. Those SEA games in the regular season are head-knockers.

I will say, I am curious to see how Dak could play agains their starting secondary. Not sure that will happen, but it would be fun to see. Assuming he plays well.

I want to see Zeke and Dak play for sure. And I am interested in seeing how this defense holds up or doesnt. Plenty to watch in my opinion.

Romo hasn't played since thanksgiving...not including last week

You can't just expect him to hit the ground running on the word go...he needs reps..he hasn't been sharp the last two season openers..these are the best players in the world..you dont just hop out of bed and hit form

Live! Not replay. The start time is late because it is a west coast game.

It is replay, starts an hour after it goes live. If ya look at the NFL channel, it is only 2 hours long.

Now, this is true for everyone outside Dallas viewing area I think.

Yeah, in the 8-8s, if Tony had blocked better, got more turnovers on defense, stopped the run better, rushed the passer better....just maybe they'd be better than 8-8.

Wait, why not? With the lineup we have, I think Romo can put together a successful regular season, and if we somehow happen to get home field advantage, look out. This is a 50/50 scenario.

It seems to me that most people on here are very defensive when the Romo/Dak topic pops up. There will be people calling for Dak as soon as Romo makes a mistake. Its Dallas, and the media will love it, even though they really won't believe what they are saying. Romo is the starter and will play the entire year unless he get injured. What bothers me is the posters who think Dak can't come in and win and that he needs to sit and learn for a couple of years. Now that I don't believe at this point. I may change my mind but as of right now I think Dak can come in and play good enough to win, something we didn't have last year....

The live game starts at 9 pm CDT, but NFLN starts showing the game at 10 pm CDT, according to the guide on DTV. That seems very odd. I would think they would air the game live from the beginning, or start running it after the game has been concluded. Don't think I've ever seen them do a game that way before.

I sure hope they're not picking up the action an hour into the game...that would be dumb.

There are only 2 games on this coming Thursday and NBC is showing the Alt vs Mia game. Dallas game is in Seattle and shows the start time of the game at 10:00 eastern time and being aired on NFL Network. Why would it be a replay?

I posted a minute ago, it shows the game starting on NFLN at 10 CDT on my guide. I'm hoping that's a mistake and the game actually airs at 9 CDT (10 EST).

Nobody was predicting a Super Bowl in August of 1992; although, I personally felt compelled to go see them in training camp in 92 which was my 1st time.

Man, that's a bummer, if that's the case. The only thing airing before the game was a series of one hour reruns, IIRC.

In the late nineties I thought I jinxed the Cowboys because I had attended training camp prior to the 92, 93 and 95 seasons but not the other seasons. I did go back in the 2000s and they didn't win a SB so I decided I must not have jinxed them after all.
