I made my mind up about Dak

No need for that, brother. He's not trolling, just expressing his opinion.
IMO, unfortunately, the powers that be have made it ok to call fellow fans “trolls” when they are merely critical of the team and its players. It’s been tolerated and condoned by some more than I care to mention.

it’s hard to imagine that it would now be considered taboo to sincerely vent, critique and opine about the team and it’s players after losing to one of the worst teams in the NFL.

if it goes unchallenged, it becomes the norm and I thank you for calling that out in your post….respect.

I'm about at 80 percent. I'm almost at the point where I want to see Lance. And I'm a Dak guy. Or was....
I don't understand why people are blaming Dak over the loss to the Cards. Did y'all see the defense? What a about the position McCarthy put Dak in? Take the points. This game never had to be like that. I've never seen a coach in that position try to force a TD with that much time left.

I just don't get how this comes back on Dak when 3 starters on the offensive line were out.

I challenge people to watch the Akoye/Law breakdown on youtube. They show the coverages the offense was up against and what Dak had a chance to complete and not complete and why.

Dak ain't the greatest, but all the people clamoring for Lance need to be careful what you wish for. Maybe in a year or two, he'll be good enough to start, but he's not even close to ready.

Always liked him, thought he was a good team locker room guy, leader, well spoken .
As far as qb, I just felt our Oc's were horrible and carrot top truly held him back.

I still think he is descent, top 15 ish Qb, but hate to admit this, he won't win you a Sb. He hopefully will be on a SB winner !! Praying he will!! But he will not win the SB !
Not sire what clicked, I just daod that to myself all last hame
Hope this D bounces back. And Dack just drive the bus enough to win.
LOL, yeah, well if he does get on a SB winner it will be as a backup. He won't be the one taking them there. And there are a lot more worthy and pure things to pray for than seeing this fraud be on one of those teams. The only thing holding him back is his talent, ability, agility, and intelligence......other than that, he's in the best shape of his life.

I think it has more to do with surrounding talent and coaching/scheme. Force him to stay in the pocket and all the same things will be said about him that are now said about Dak.
We have one the best rosters in the league. The "players around him" myth has already been busted.

Two words: Trent Dilfer

I bring this up when people say Dak is not good enough. QB is undoubtedly the most important position on any team but with an elite defense, which we all thought this Cowboys team was after a mere two weeks... I'm just saying it's been done.

To put an alternate, comedic spin on it, there was once mention of a character in a movie who put 1,000 dollars on a 30-1 horse... and WON! What movie, you ask? Stealing Harvard. Especially if you hate Tom Green.

It's Tuesday, and I'm tipsy. Most of you wouldn't be able to reason, let alone swype.
Time is running out even for the outlier, hope to win the lottery Trent Dilfer theory.

If Dak is going to do something special he better start soon. He isn't a young QB anymore.

You do understand. Pretending to be obtuse has a long tradition on the internet.

Why do you think there are so many that understandably criticize Dak? Andswer, because they watch him play.
Because the haters like you follow each other. Y’all have been sucked as Parcells would say.

I am a Dak AND a Romo fan. Romo was really the only reason all those 8-8 Jason Garrett teams weren't 3-13 instead. Romo is going to go down as perhaps the most underappreciated player in the history of this team.

As for Dak, he still has a little time left to reverse the narrative. But to me this franchise has been snakebit since January 28, 1996 and Dak is just another scapegoat on a very long list.
I respect your opinion, but "underappreciated" yielded no rings and is a bit kind with the same results. Not sure about the underappreciation, as he almost walks on water on this board........but did I say anything untrue?

Dak wasn't great, but I don't think he was bad either. I dont think a lot of yall are taking into consideration how limited the playbook likely was with the late adjustments to 3 new oline players, two of which are rookies.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve criticism either. Only point is he needs a couple more games in this offense to see where he stands without KM. I had very minimal complaints before Sunday.
Would you say he's better than Dobbs? If yes, then he crapped the bed, and he's a failure.

His role in the NFL should have been backup QB. That's how he has played since day one. The amount of talent the offense had in 2016 made him appear to be something he has showed he isn't. He used to possess a threat with his legs - I will give him that. Since this has gone well...that's all she wrote.
