I made my mind up about Dak

I don't understand why people are blaming Dak over the loss to the Cards. Did y'all see the defense? What a about the position McCarthy put Dak in? Take the points. This game never had to be like that. I've never seen a coach in that position try to force a TD with that much time left.

I just don't get how this comes back on Dak when 3 starters on the offensive line were out.

D was terrible. Dak was terrible. Both can be true.

He's a scared player, something he was better at a few years ago. He's afraid to throw it unless the guy is WIDE open. He's just done here along with all the Dallas QBs over the past 27 years. And it looks like we still have a coaching problem, giving up penalty after penalty. We will never get it right under Jones and so I've turned my attention to CU and the Mavs.

All those mentioning that Dak needs to run, I don't disagree but have you seen the guy run lately? He's like a lumbering giant, not explosive, not fast, and not elusive. He has terrible pocket presence, doesn't step up in the pocket and takes too many steps before releasing the ball. He just plain sucks.

Of course, you don't understand, becaue it is too obvious? 6 trips to the redzone, 1 TD 3 field goal, 1 TO on down and 1 INT. That's unacceptable. Had he scored 2 TD, then there would be much less blame on him, 3 TD might just win the game. The redzone scoring has been an issue since the last game, and every fan saw it as an issue -- it only got worse this week.

I happened to watch that vid, and I don't give a damn about whatever Dak-apologists were saying. This is the facts: 1 TD and 3 field goals with 400+ yards on offense. Akoye mentioned more than 1 time saying something like "had Dak hit CD on the stride", "had we execute" etc., When you get paid for 40mil a year, you aren't supposed to act like a bus-driver all the time. When our Defense is having an off-day, you the 40mil guy supposed to step up and create points. Cloud-4, deep cover-2 or whatever, you've been this league for 8 ***** years and you have seen them all. Cards are a bad team and got beat by Giants and Skins.
Just quit making new excuses for him -- seen enough, heard enough, pathetic.

As far as qb, I just felt our Oc's were horrible and carrot top truly held him back.

I still think he is descent, top 15 ish Qb, but hate to admit this, he won't win you a Sb. He hopefully will be on a SB winner !! Praying he will!! But he will not win the SB !

He threw the ball to Gallup and there was clearly interference in the endzone. You saw it. Who's fault was that? Why was that flag picked up when it clearly was a foul.

Simply put. Physical traits aside. I just feel his football IQ is not on that top Sb winning QB level. Very slow to process, combine that with limited physical skills/ technique = a B - c+ qb

If he was better at improvising and extending plays he’d be a machine.

When you are the star player of any sports team, or the highest paid member of any organization in any walk of life, you are expected to produce at levels beyond your lesser paid peers.

You will be under heavy scrutiny and if you don't live up to expectations, you will face heavy criticism.

Dak isn't the first guy to face criticism for his performance with regard to contract, and he won't be the last.

We are relying on him to be a pocket passer…like the eagles did Hurtz at first. Neither of those guys are very good when staying in the pocket all the time. We see how Hurtz can be if he runs. Remember Dak running. That was what made him dangerous.

at very least we rememeber Dilfer QB for Ravens who crushed Giants 2000 SB....at best bus driver....Dak better....but he has his moments of making poor

decisions....but overall i consider him top 12 and maybe just maybe top 10?

They are ok with the because the fan base still shows up. They will find every excuse under the sun to justify Dak. They have revamped the o-line, upgraded receivers in several occasions, cut running backs, upgraded the defense and fired the OC and HC. But for some reason the QB has never been the issue.

No, people are disappointed by Dak because he held out for top of the money at his position and has failed to deliver at that level. That is what makes sense.

After further review-you're right. I thought Dak could of ran more in the redzone but after reviewing the film- it was nothing there. So apologies to Dak on this one. I blame McCarty's redzone play calling and the defense for this mess.
