Are you kidding? The only game where Dallas was competitive was the Atlanta game and it took a special teams flop by Atlanta to to keep that game competitive.
Can't agree. The Rams game they were ahead at the half 14-13, and lost by 3. That's not being competitive? They entered the 4th against Seattle down only 8 pts, one td and 2 pt conversion. That's competitive. They won the Giants game, and were ahead when Dak went out with the injury. The Browns game was a farce, Cowboys didn't play well , losing by 11 after being down 41-14 starting the 4th. NO doubt they weren't competitive in that game.
If you have a leads at the half, lose by 3 and win games, you are certainly competitive. That fell apart later in the year, with Dak out, but in 4 of the first 5 games it wasn't a matter of not being competitive, it was a matter of not knowing how to close out games, combined with a poor defense...
