I really like Lindstrom as well. But I wouldn’t sleep on James Empey making the team / practice squad. NBC Sports’ Mike Florio reportsthat the former four-year starter at BYU signed a guaranteed $110,000 free-agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys. By just signing the contract, Empey earned a $10,000 signing bonus.

You can see a major competition brewing between Biadasz, Farinok, Lindstrom, and Empey. I like that Dallas is at least throwing numbers at the position but I expect in the end it's Biadasz and Farinok on the roster again.

Seems to be more of a pass blocker than a run blocker. Moore runs up the middle too much to have a guy like this on our team.

BC ran a lot of plays up the middle. I think the kid needs to add some weight and not expecting him to play this season.

Empey is also the better run blocker between the 2.

And not counting out Biadasz just yet either, Rimington winners are not chopped liver.

Like Lindstrom, Empey and even Farniok, he needs to get stronger + more lead in his butt.
