Video: I really like Center Alex Lindstrom

i almost always took him when i fooled around with the different mock simulators.
good player.
if they are serious about competition for biadasz...he'll get it from lindstrom.

Biadasz was a pretty highly thought of C - 2nd/3rd rounder pre draft. I wouldn't give up on him just yet.

He was always said to have trouble with the big DTs and not a dominate drive blocker...so some of his issues shouldn't be a surprise. He ended up not allowing a single sack last year (yes, there were some pressures up the middle that don't show up on the stat sheet, but it wasn't always an issue) and he ended up around the middle of the pack in C ratings at the end of the year. Not terrible for a 2nd year player.

This was the main reason why I couldn't get on board drafting the C w/ the 1st round pick. Sure, he might be an upgrade, but he wasn't going to step in and make that big of a difference.

Let's see what the offseason has done for him before some write him off. Also, starting a rookie LG and C might not be the smartest thing to do.

I agree, Not writing anyone off. Your right 1st and 2nd year players you expect them to continue to develop and improve moving forward, I expect Biadasz to improve entering his 3rd season and I expect he will start the season it falls to him to keep the position.

Good post.

I agree with not writing him off, but they sure brought in a lot of competition.

So whose to say one of these guys isn't moved to guard?

..IQ on OL? been a while, I'd say. Since Freddy. THis kid looks good, anticipation is good, as well as technique.

I think Biadasz's physical game get better as the season progressed last year. It is his mental game that I think hurt him. I cannot count how many times I saw him appear to go block the wrong guy. And why was he always trying to help Zack Martin while Connor Williams struggled? It is hard for me to believe he was coached to help Martin and let Williams block one on one so I am placing the blame on Biadasz. But who knows with Dallas. Maybe he was told to help Martin.

Whatever the case, I don't think he was weak physically. He may have struggled with the speed of the game early in the season.

How come Mickey isn't asking....."If he's so good why didn't he get drafted?"

LOL............and the FA's that were signed at other positions? Are they going to unseat the starters too? Too funny to listen to these fans on here.

I saw a couple of times where he clearly expected Williams or Martin to block a guy and they blocked no one so he tried to do it for them and probably looked dumb doing it. Biadasz is a smart guy and knowing what to do hasnt been his issue. Getting bull rushed a few times by the best in the business is all that happened to him. Probably needs to get a little stronger. Not a big deal for a kind in his first real season starting.

Definitely a diamond in the rough kind of guy.....bet he makes the PS for sure, maybe even the team if he has a strong camp. His only disadvantage by Dallas standards is he only plays C.....for me that's a plus. If he's great, keep him there.

I think there's a lot to the mental part of things, and who he was supposed to help, because he was more than fine with the pre Denver game lineup.

When they changed the lineup, he got worse suddenly. That's why I'm not sure he should be sent to the scrap heap. But I guess we will find out in camp.
