Jag passrush came to life last week, they got 4 sacks in the game vs Tenn, Right now Cowboys best be ready to go.

why because they stuffed Henry and that run game and get that QB back there and they arent great in the pass game at all.

This team has tons of experience getting punked in big games, they need the opposite to show them that they've progressed past the "pretender" status. Green Bay could have provided a baby step but instead it provided a reminder this team has a loser persona. Beat the eagles and beat the Titans,,, win out! Then maybe they can start to have some swagger and confidence. Guaranteed none of them are "smelling themselves", they remember what happened last year and the year before that and the year before that,,,

I don't know about loser persona.. I just know they've not handled prosperity well. Call it whatever you want.. If they spank these next four opponents and go into the playoffs on a high I will immediately think they're due for a letdown. I have no DESIRE to actually watch the Cowboys lose ANY game.. I am simply musing about what I perceive to be an issue with THIS team. Which is lack of maturity. We can all sit here and say "I want them to be this or that.. " I am simply dealing with who they are.. And who they are tells me that if they win out they will likely not be focused come playoff time. I don't have to like it to acknowledge it.

I still maintain that this team lacks the emotional maturity to go into the playoffs on an 8 game win streak. I'd much rather they drop one somewhere along the way to help them refocus. And perhaps more importantly to get the media off their nuts.

People won’t like this, but in a strange way I feel like our best shot at getting into the SB may be to get our butts kicked by Philly on the 24th.

We are very likely to have to go into Philly and win in late January either way. It may be better to be overlooked as a massive underdog. Maybe Mike can run with that narrative and get them on a roll.

i guess i remember the other 2 games before that Henry shrugged a bit he was under 4 Yard per carry but i guess i didn't keep up last Sunday.
well good that means Zeke and Pollard will eat 100 yards each easy win..) that doesn't change the fact that the titans have horrible pass game.. no true weapons int he pass game. that all i meant got into passing situations and they aren't good ..

Not sure I get the take and that getting a loss will somehow knock any sense into the team.

If we lose to Philly and the #5 seed is ours, the most important thing is resting guys on the mend and just staying healthy. Anything can happen in the playoffs.

Cowboys favored in this game as they should be but after the game this team played last week I kind of expect the Cowboys to come in pissed off and looking to do some redeeming. Those players know they played poorly. Last thing they need to do is take Jacksonville lightly

I don't. Even if we beat the Eagles and get within 1 game there is a chance the Saints could pull out an upset if we take care of business. Even if they don't, Saints are a physical team and can maybe force them to play the whole game and maybe beat them up a little bit.

Eagles are 12-1, Cowboys are 10-3. Let's say we both win our next game, it's 13-1 to 11-3. Let's say we beat the Eagles now they're 13-2 and we're now 12-3. It is inconceivable they could drop another game to the a healthier Saints team or a healthier Giants team? It's a long shot but not impossible. The new playoff format essentially makes it even tougher.

If this squeaker against Houstank did not get their attention then nothing will. It is up to the adults in the room (MM DQ) to use some tough love to keep them focused and I would certainly not go soft in practice down the stretch. Even if they are not wearing pads... still stay on their a**. Demand perfection.

Blame on the loss to Jacksonville has to be placed on Henry's feet as well. Henry got 50 yards on one carry in first quarter and fumbled it away twice. Tannehill didn't play that badly considering he was sacked four times and was under pressure entire game, but he also had two turnovers. Tennessee turned the ball over 4 times. You're going to lose majority of times with that many turnovers, no matter who you play. Jacksonville was proclaimed as turning the corner when they beat the Ravens, but got hammered the following week by the Lions (they HAVE turned the corner).

Dallas is more balanced than Tennessee or the Ravens so I think Dallas should win.

Frankly at this point I am of the mind that Jerry and 'nem should pay the fines for having the guys in pads the rest of the way. I think running around in shorts makes a team soft. I don't like it one bit. You don't have to hit.. but get closer to playing football.
