Right now the Cowboys have hope, and they are playing well.
Not great, but well.
Next season begins a four year deal with Dak Prescott, and it doesn't matter who the Cowboys get from the draft, the problems of the last eight years will still exist.
IF, and it's a big IF, these Cowboys can get to the playoffs, you might get to see them actually remind you of what made this franchise great.
But if Dak is the quarterback for the next four years, some of us might not ever see the Cowboys we grew to love again.
Losing destroys morale, and the rebuild that it would take to restore the Cowboys to a semblance of what we grew to love could be ten years away.
So, enjoy the rest of this year; at least the next game. And if the Cowboys win it, take it one game at a time and hope for the best.
It might be the last time you can hope to see the real Dallas Cowboys for a while.
What happened in the last 20 yeas before Dak became QB1?

You can’t preach it, they don’t wanna hear it. It’s wo is me. They forget we had 12 different starting quarterbacks after Troy Aikman. And then Tony. Who was an absolute warrior. And then Prescott, who was also consistently a top 10 quarterback sometimes top five. But it’s his fault and nobody else’s. But the history shows everybody that they’re wrong. It’s the team management the GM, that’s the consistent problem.
It's not his "fault" per se but he's yet another fail. How is that so hard to understand? Yes it all starts with the GM, but the QB has to be the right piece for the puzzle too. And Dak ain't it.

Jason Garrett was the head coach that wasted so much talent and so many years. There was no leadership at the head coach position.
Dak is Garrett 2.0. No leadership at the quarterback position.
Neither should have been given a spot.
Both have destroyed the Cowboys.

I don't get the Cooper Rush hype. He's doing his best, but he has been average at best. I love the 7-3 record with Rush starting, and I'll take more of that. But he hasn't been the "real" QB many posters keep bragging about. I hope we win out. If we do, I'll be grateful for Rush's contribution. If we don't, I'll still be grateful. I root for Cowboys because they're Cowboys. I'm funny that way.
It's not so much Cooper Rush but the rest of the team seems to play real hard when he's playing quarterback

I don't know why maybe it's a jealousy thing where they are a little butthurt over the amount of money Dak makes compared to what they make
they give up easier and expect him to put the whole game on his shoulders because of the amount he makes being roughly 12 times whatever everybody else makes.

With Rush he's the regular working guy making what everybody else makes trying his best and they seem to go all out for him no jealousy there just playing hard for their teammate

Just look at CD for instance don't see him pouting on the sideline with Rush in the game no lamenting bad body language yeah the guy still drops the ball a lot but at least he's not a sideline disruption with Rush playing quarterback

It's been 30 years  Dak hasn't been here for 10. So , how is it going to get any better even if Dak leaves tonight????? Asking for a concerned friend........

I love how Dak is the blame for everything wrong with the Cowboys..............I just got one simple question.

Dak was drafted in 2016, how many playoff wins, championship game appearances, and SBs were we winning before he showed up?

I will save everybody the google search...........we were winning JACK before Dak showed up, so winning JACK after he is here is just more of the same.

Maybe the GM (the only constant over the past 30 yrs) might be the real problem, ya think???
No NFL players get rewarded more than Dallas players do that haven't done JACK.

What's the common denominator?

When it comes to his leadership, should I believe you or the players?

*Spoiler* They like him as a leader.

They have to say that publicly.
From the cheap seats, it looks like they are glad he's out and they have Rush at quarterback right now.
It sure looks that way to me; others, too.
I think they are fed up with Dak.

Haha My goodness. The biggest troll on this board strikes again. I can't believe I took that title away from Mountaineer, but you deserve it, kid.

The last two games, we beat an overrated team and barely beat one of the worst teams. But somehow you think this is the best 2 game run we've had in 17 years? :lmao:

For the record I did enjoy beating the overrated Rojoskins. There fans on Facebook annoy me the most.
Even if the OP chooses to diminish all of the winning seasons the team has had with Dak as the QB. Him saying this is the best run the Cowboys have been on in 2 years just makes him look like a fan who loves to hype up Cooper Rush. Because not only does he want us to believe that the last 2 weeks are better than any season the Cowboys have had with Dak. He wants us also to believe that the last 2 weeks have been better than the 2014 season we saw when Romo was the QB. lol

The Cowboys have ALWAYS looked better when Rush plays, even when they lose.
They don't have a real leader on the field when Dak is in there. It's either an easy game in which everything is going right, or it's a high pressure game that Dak shuts down in and the Cowboys lose with Dak.
With Rush they play better overall.

Dak sucks. Everything else is irrelevant.
Dak has taken the Cowboys just as far as every other QB not named Troy Aikman.

Those are the facts...............so either every QB since Troy Aikman has sucked or there is another problem (cough, Jerry, cough).
