I'm going to enjoy the rest of the season not for the OP's reasons but due to life has unexpected turns and twists.

Being on here for almost 20 years, and the Ranch-before it died since 01 or 02, I've interacted with a lot of posters.
99% good, but for the most part we were Cowboys fans and wanted to see another championship.
Posters like HouseApe, Pops, to trickblue, Couchcoach, and handful of others have left us since these forums were around.

I don't get too serious about wins or losses anymore in life. It's a fun sport to watch, but can't let it dictate my life. The "comradery" so to speak on forums and in person watching games is why I enjoy watching and finishing seasons. Enjoy reading views, even if different than my own.

You know I may have to retract my previous statement I think there's one Dallas cowboy left in the league he's not playing but he's coaching the Detroit Lions.

He played for the Cowboys he's military trained Marine corps.

He's got a set of stones the size of Mount Rushmore and his players believe in him give 100% all the time.
He has created a culture that wants to win a super bowl and I hope he accomplishes it.
He is what the Cowboys used to be.

Right now the Cowboys have hope, and they are playing well.
Not great, but well.
Next season begins a four year deal with Dak Prescott, and it doesn't matter who the Cowboys get from the draft, the problems of the last eight years will still exist.
IF, and it's a big IF, these Cowboys can get to the playoffs, you might get to see them actually remind you of what made this franchise great.
But if Dak is the quarterback for the next four years, some of us might not ever see the Cowboys we grew to love again.
Losing destroys morale, and the rebuild that it would take to restore the Cowboys to a semblance of what we grew to love could be ten years away.
So, enjoy the rest of this year; at least the next game. And if the Cowboys win it, take it one game at a time and hope for the best.
It might be the last time you can hope to see the real Dallas Cowboys for a while.
Lol,
Problems?
You mean 3, consecutive 12–5 seasons and 2 other winning seasons…including know13-3, top 5 offenses with 3 different offensive coordinators, 5 of the 9 playoff appearances this team has had over the last 30 years.
I do believe I’ll take Dake Prescott.
Most rational and reasonably intelligent fans who actually understand the competitive sport that is football would!

I think what we've been watching the last two weeks is better than what we've seen field the majority of the last 17 years.
I don't think Dak makes it four more years or even one more year. I think he's done in Dallas. I think the team quit on him, and are fed up with him.
But, just in case......
lol

If you like beating only the cellar dwellers and then getting beaten soundly when the Cowboys play real competition, you may well enjoy the next four years.
But, I doubt it. The Cowboys have grown tired of Dak's act. They may not say it openly because they can't, but they quit on him this season and are playing hard for Cooper Rush.
I do think Dak is done in Dallas.
Next year might be better if he is.

The last time we saw the real Dallas cowboys was a long, long time ago. This team and the owner are a sham!

Until we get a GM who knows that he is doing we are not going to be enjoying Cowboys football.

I love how Dak is the blame for everything wrong with the Cowboys..............I just got one simple question.

Dak was drafted in 2016, how many playoff wins, championship game appearances, and SBs were we winning before he showed up?

I will save everybody the google search...........we were winning JACK before Dak showed up, so winning JACK after he is here is just more of the same.

Maybe the GM (the only constant over the past 30 yrs) might be the real problem, ya think???
Dak sucks. Everything else is irrelevant.

Haha My goodness. The biggest troll on this board strikes again. I can't believe I took that title away from Mountaineer, but you deserve it, kid.

The last two games, we beat an overrated team and barely beat one of the worst teams. But somehow you think this is the best 2 game run we've had in 17 years? :lmao:

For the record I did enjoy beating the overrated Rojoskins. There fans on Facebook annoy me the most.

Lol damn!
You do like your nonsense and gibberish!
I guessed you missed them resigning him to the contract you didn’t have the basic reasoning skills to realize he was going to get.
Outside of a career ending injury he’s here for the next 4 years. Better get your bib and pacifier ready.

Yeah, I know that pleases you.
You don't care what happens to the Cowboys, as long as Dak is milking it.
If you were a fan of the Dallas Cowboys you'd hate that Dak will be in Dallas.
It doesn't bother me anymore. I'm done with them.
Getting to see them with a real quarterback under center for the rest of this year in Cooper Rush was unexpected, but a nice surprise.
But as long as Dak is the quarterback they aren't going anywhere.

This shouldn’t be hard to figure out if you can use simple basic reasoning skills!

I don't get the Cooper Rush hype. He's doing his best, but he has been average at best. I love the 7-3 record with Rush starting, and I'll take more of that. But he hasn't been the "real" QB many posters keep bragging about. I hope we win out. If we do, I'll be grateful for Rush's contribution. If we don't, I'll still be grateful. I root for Cowboys because they're Cowboys. I'm funny that way.
