I Think Jerry Is Going To Go Heavy Offense In The Offseason.

and he is not the game breaking, game changing talent McFadden is...nor can he do as much on the field as McFadden

If you don't think Larry Fitzgerald is a gamebreaker - you haven't been watching him.

He's a free agent this year and has said he wants out of Zona.

unless he has some voidable year deal, he probably isnt a free agent after this season...its only his 4th yr in the league...wasnt he like the 3rd or 4th pick overall? He almost assuredly didnt get a 4yr deal

I've seen him play....I think he's a good WR, but I also dont think he's an explosive game changing player...his stats sorta agre with that...his longest play in his career is 57yds (once)...3 of his 4 yrs in the league his longest play was under 50 yds...and the 14.0 yds per reception this yr is his career high...all 3 other yrs its been 13-something

I wouldnt mind having him, but if somebody asks me would I rather have Darren McFadden or Larry Fitzgerald, I am taking McFadden...even if I have to give up both 1st rd picks as part of a deal to get him

Plus a high pick next year. There's no way around that.

Thats all you got to add to the conversation???

No need to be rude about it.

I would reply in kind, but were freaking 8-1 so I am going to let it slide.:D

I was rude in a friendly way. :)

Let me state my disagreement with original premise...

Taking into consideration this team's cap position, the starters and the depth I thought your original thought at drafting both McFadden AND signing another big-time WR isn't very likely.

The signing of Turner isn't likely either-- he's the same type of back as Barber. This team is likely going to let Jones walk and let Barber become the starter.

There are realistic additions to be made to this team during the offseason and then you have ones that aren't very realistic.

I respectfully disagree.

Glenn is most likely gone, so his salary (over 5 mill I would imagine), can be used to get another top-notch reciever.

By signing Glenn's replacement in FA (If Fitz is FA as some have said in this thread, he should be #1 target), that leaves us multiple high picks to package for McFadden.

Jones has gone on at least one occasion to watch McFadden in person, according to reports. I have also heard that several Cowboy scouts have been seen at Arkansas games this year.

I really think they are targeting McFadden "at all costs"......IMO:)
