I think McCarthy stays

If quinn leaves It is scary to think who they might bring in to replace him.

As bad as this defense was during this game I think people forget how bad it was before quinn got here.

And McCarthy on offense is not really the problem.

It is Him not preparing the team, consistently putting together a team that always has penalty issues. Terrible game/time management and too cozy with the players.

This team needs a HC that is more of a disciplinarian and one who will get this team to quit killing itself with penalties and game timing issues.

Sometimes a team needs a change

Sadly the real change that is need is not going to happen so we can forget about that...in other words Big and Little Enos are not going anywhere.
mr Brain----but will Jerry tolerate a disciplinarian?....he is much older and thinks he is wiser....the last real put real fear in the team was Parcells

.it was Romo who crushed Parcells heart on that fumble snap where

we would have won that game against seahawks..2006 ..by the way Seahawks went to super bowl that year.....yes they lost...but still...by the way the Packers are

not really all that good....they will get killed next week in Santa Clara...49ers will be well prepared....what is it?...do cowboys sniff themselves during the week?

i know you are still hurting...but some people yap that is how they deal with stress....i get it...does not make it any better
I know, it was a tongue in cheek statement. RS is usually on par though, so he might be projecting right now.

McCarthy was bought in to win playoff games...Regular season wins arent his barometer

getting over the hump is

at this point you know what he is...12-5, 2 first round exit, 1 playoff win

you run this back with mccarthy you arent serious about winning
I think we got our ceiling with Mike. Nice guy but it wasn’t/isn’t enough.

I don’t know how many times it will take fans here to understand that Jerry Jones does not think like a fan. He thinks like a guy who wants first and foremost to play with his toy every day any way he sees fit. And he will always look for a head coach - first and foremost - to make him feel comfortable doing what he wants to do.

Every fan who thinks “Jerry is mad” and is going to fire McCarthy doesn’t realize that’s not what he’s thinking tonight. He’s wondering if he can still keep Big Mac around for his comfort while hoping fans will forget by July that this even happened.

Like you Risen I expect come July we will have an 81 year old Jerry Jones smiling broadly at his “State of the Cowboys“ address in “Ox-nerd” telling us his high expectations and why we should all buy sand from him again in this desert called “the last 28 years.”

And the fans will come back in droves.
Until we as fans cut off the money supply, nothing is changing.

I like MM just not sure how he stays at that collapse. That was epically bad. I think belicheck comes into a good situations.

I would agree, but I remember how long he kept Garrett around…
A lot of fans LOVED Garrett as much as Jerry. It wasn't like this I don't think. The fans loved the idea of Garrett being the next Tom Landry. Obviously stupid.

I doubt it after listening to Jerry postgame. After three decades of hearing him talk I can tell when heads are about to roll.

I will say I thought Wade was done after listening to Jerry following the 2009 divisional loss and it didn’t happen until the next season. But I would be shocked in MM is back next year. I think there is a very high probability we end up with someone worse but I just don’t think Jerry can be talked into running it back with Mike next season.

Keep McCarthy without extension as lame duck HC will be a horrible decision even for Jerry, we might as well flush next season down the toilet and start, who should we hire as head coach in 2025 discussion now

Quinn is done. All year they played man coverage and today was cover 3 and it created confusion and players in wrong positions. Why? Who knows
This is the head scratcher for me. It’s borderline sabotage. The DBs looked like they had no clue what they were doing out there.
