GROZ!

If he is forced on the next HC, that means Jerry and Stephen are up to their same old antics. Which will lead to the same old results.

The Cowboys won a lot of regular season games in spite of the Jones boys.

Send Zimmer on the 1st thing smokin' out of the Metroplex.

They played well most of the game. But gave up back to back TDS at the end. If it went to OT, it would have been 3 straight TD drives
It was an embarrassing performance. I can't imagine how bummed out Washington fans must be. It's like us whenever we think we have a contender, only to lay an egg so big that we're brought back to reality.

That said, I had a lot of fun watching this game. The season is over. It's like going to a circus. You're just watching for the fun of it.

I think he's back next year. Despite the breakdowns ,despite all the points conceded,

Don' know who the HC will be (it won't be Belichick) so whoever it is will be 'asked' to work with Mike.
Zimmer was brought here to be the next HC.

If he puts together a decent 2nd half of the season then that plan will remain the plan.

he will not be back. don't let yesterday's game fool you. washington is on a 3 game losing streak....this win yesterday was more about special teams and their special teams missing to PATs....

We keep on playing the way we are yeah, but once again you're telling a new coach he has to keep someone he may not want to keep
how did we play? everyone is so enamoured with yesterday's win, but that's against a washington team on a three game losing streak now and a rookie QB. they are being exposed and their defense is not that good (32nd against the rush). the defense was OK, nothing great and in the end they got exposed when washington actually started to attack down field forcing cowboys to cover the whole field.

Time is here for zimmer to go. this defense is bad. 1 game does not make up for the other 10 games

Washington is a bad football team who are playing their tails off for Dan Quinn, otherwise they would be horid.
We will also look unstoppable against the giants on. Thanksgiving, that's awesome.
Washington decided to protect their young quarterback and try and run the ball a lot, which didn't really work if they would have started passing earlier, it may have been a different game.
Quinn will be making a change in OC at the end of the season, LOL.
The days of Jerry picking his coordinators for this new head coach are over.
So they tried to run a balanced offense and ended up dropping him back and running him a bunch to protect him? He threw the ball 38 times and ran the ball 7 times out of 67 plays. Thats not protecting him.

I appreciate Zimmer trying to hold this thing together with some tape and sticks, but it’s probably best that he retire and enjoy his time, he doesn’t need this anymore. If he wants to stay in as a consultant for a young guy like Harris I’d be ok with that.

Why would they want to bring Zimmer back?

If Zimmer is back at DC, then the new HC is another puppet and probably overall a downgrade from McCarthy.

That 86 yards TD pass to get Washington back in the game late was all I needed to see. Same old Cowboys. Same bad defense. I don't know how that happens but it reminded me of the play KC pulled on us near the end of the half when the Cowboys were looking for the Hail Mary but KC threw is underneath. The Cowboys had 8 DBs playing deep and somehow the receiver managed to avoid all of them to take it in for a shocking TD to end the half. Giving up points late is a sure sign of a bad defense.

One good game hasn't changed my mind.
Its weird.

One game where we easily could have still lost if they just make a PAT, and people are talking like McCarthy can save his job, Zimmer is doing a fine job and maybe we can mount a playoff charge.

LOL.

I sure hope not Jerry should’ve canned MM last year. He also should have promoted Dan Quinn and promoted AL to DC.

Both our special teams screwed the pooch. They were just worse. Or should I say, more costly. I saw the last missed PAT. I saw that snap being picked up off the turf. I saw it coming.

I played WR most of my life. But I loved kicking FGs. I can tell you it is very difficult kicking a ball when you don't see where it is. When he swung his foot, the ball wasn't upright yet. These professional kickers can do it more often than not. But it is still hard.

With no rush and the ball spotted, kicking a FG is easy. With a snap and rush it gets 10 times harder. If you have to kick a FG where you think the ball is going to be, 10 times harder still.

Because the Jones' can work with him.
The first question is never 'who is the best defensive coordinator out there?' it is 'can X person work with the Jones'?'
Jones could work with Kellen Moore too and he still fired him
