I think Rodney Harrison is a little too ghetto for NBC and needs to tone it down

Last week on the air he called T.O. a CLOWN and tonight at halftime he was making fun of Tom Brady. They were talking about how the ref threw a flag because one of the Ravens defenders landed near Brady's feet.

And Harrison says on the air-"Hey Tom Brady if you are watching this take off the skirt and put on some slacks"

Rodney doesn't know the difference between TV and radio? I still thought it was funny but just a little on the ghetto side.

Ghetto is the right term because that's how guys in the Hood talk when Clowing someone. I just think he can be a little different on the air. Even Bob Costas was like-"HUH???-lol

Yeah I don't think he's ghetto at all. He's definitely blunt.

And considering he was Brady's teammate for a number of years, I don't think it'll be a huge issue.

That's why it was so surprising because he played with him for years. Rodney is TOO BLUNT

He is honest if he is talking about A quaterback. He is blunt if he is talking about YOUR quaterback.

Rodney hasn't seen the memo from Heir Goodell "No hitting Tom Brady".

Really? Guys in the hood call folks "clowns" and say stop wearing "dresses"?

What type of ghetto do you frequent where you hear that type language?

And why would you make that exclusive to the ghetto? I hear words like that often. Be careful because someone could interpret your comments to have racial implications.

Costa reacted the way he did because it was coming from Harrison, a former teammate.

It took Costa and others by surprise because ex-players-turned-commentators usually take swipes at other teams and players. They usually don't take swipes at their own team and own former teammates.

Harrison should be commended for his honesty. Brady drew that flag by complaining about Suggs "allegedly" targeting his knees when Suggs did nothing of the sort.

Brady is trying to work the rule to his advantage. And Harrison told him, in so many words, man up and play.

I think Harrison is pretty good he just needs to re-PC his verbiage a little. I think it'll work out like Warren Sapp on Inside the NFL. He's a lot more contained and going with the flow w/ the other hosts where last year he was a loose cannon...He called TO a ***** live at one point last season and generally produced cringeworthy but funny and highly entertaining sentences. If Harrison has any internal feedback loop at all he'll soon realize what he can and cannot say on air.

If anyone had seen the video, he said it all with a smile.. So, I don't think he was actually going hard at Brady.

Maybe in the ghetto where elvis lived. Not the ghetto were Folks like James Brown grew up. I grew up in a rather rough one on the east side of sa and noone would even dare talk like that.

Ghetto??

I hate to pull the race card, cause Im not even black, but I doubt you would say that if he was white.

He's a former football player, not a Professor at Harvard.
