Eagles probably won't have Jordan Mailata, AJ Brown, and Dallas Goedart. Hurts is nursing an ankle issue. Sirianni is a certified idiot. We could pull the upset.

And what did you see? The Eagles had the ball for 17 more minutes, and out-gained them by 230 total yards. Lawrence had a 40 passer rating, they were just 3 for 10 on 3rd down, and they averaged just 3.3 ypc rushing.
The score was closer because the refs called a fumble by Barkley (that was not a fumble) that Jax returned for a TD. And yes, Sirianni made some bone-head decisions which is par for the course. But those things weren’t the way Jax played Philly.
Look, it’s the NFL, and it’s a division game…and I’ve watched football far too long to not realize that no team can afford to take another NFL team lightly. But you can’t really point out anything the Jags did easily against Philly.
Oh.... nice. I get that.
There was a rinky dink country pizza place close to my grandparents house when I was a child, that they would take me to when I visited them (different state where I lived), complete with juke box and Pacman arcade game, that had a very special place in my heart... and I'd go there when ever I was in that area even as a young adult, for nostalgic reasons, until they tore it down some 15 years ago.
Pizza Hut, has a thin crust pork topping pizza (not sausage, just pork) that tastes EXACTLY like what the pizzas tasted like my grandparents would get me...and I've never found any other pizza like it. TheGreatCowboysOregonDucksLADodgerFan occasionally will go get that large PizzaHut pizza, and enjoy it with a Coke with crushed ice, to recreate those fond memories of youth of cheap (but delicious) pizza, high scores on Pacman games, and loving grandparents who have since "moved on"
Tush push depends more on Dickerson and Mailata. The Eagles miss their giant-sized LT for the TP.It wasn't so much that they did anything easily against Philly so much as they were able to make key stops on 4th down. Not to mention that they stopped the Tush Push a few times. I'm thinking the loss of Jason Kelce may be more significant than I thought prior to the season. So, if the coaches can take advantage of that, who knows?
almost had them until what? aftrer his 3rd INT? lmaoI know, it sounds crazy for me to think we are going to win anymore games in 2024. However, I think the Cowboys will beat the Eagles on Sunday. Here are the reasons why:
Somehow, I think the Cowboys will narrowly edge out the Eagles. If I had to guess, I think Sirianni is going to have the Eagles try to go for it on 4th and 4 up 20-16 (I think Aubrey will hit a 69 yard field goal before halftime to make it 20-16 btw) late in the 4th quarter instead of kicking a field goal. I think it will fail, and we will drive down for a game winning TD to Lamb. I don't know why, but I think we somehow win this game 23-20
- Rush nearly had them last time he played them. The Eagles are not as good as when he last played them. They're good, and Barkley will be a problem, but I think Rush will lead us to a shocking win.
- Nick Sirianni is an idiot. As much as we may want to have swipes at McCarthy, Nick Sirianni is a certified moron. He nearly blew the Browns and Jaguars games with some insanely braindead calls. I think Sirianni is going to make some insanely boneheaded decisions that the Cowboys will take advantage of and beat them.
- The NFC EAST is insanely hard to gauge. In NFC East battles, it's usually best to throw the records out of the equation and the run of form the teams have been on. Somehow, I think this won't be any different.
No, you can respect Washington. My beef with Philly is their fans, real low-down dirty scumbags. The Michael Irvin incident burned hatred deep into my soul. And when the Commanders sweep Philly and Dallas you’ll hate them more than anything.
and he still threw 3 picks! The last time Rush faced the Eagles, the Cowboys were a much better team than they are now. For one thing, they had an offensive line that could block. I don't think the Eagles OL is as good as what they had in 2022 but they are still very good, while the Cowboys DL is just a total mess.

it's odd that same attitude and narratives are not used for Prescott or Romo whoever is hating on which group that is around here the almost I mean we almost beat the Ravens we almost beat the 49ers and we nearly beat Atlanta but that doesn't count around here now if you read the headlines during the game and after Oh my God literally are you just hanging this dude ignore victory after three interceptions and the week before he had 107 yards passing against the Rams and two fumbles Cooper rush is the most overrated players that ever have played for the Cowboys because he has A5 in one record on the street it was the defense played lights out we had a strong run game offensive line was doing all they could special teams adding what they could and they still were at the bottom 10 in the league are you still propping this dude up like he did something during those six games?
Where is this energy for Prescott whenever he tries to get back in games and almost wins they call it garbage time and the final score didn't really match what was happening in the game that's the energy around here don't even lie I'm sick of it we're all sticking up for a guy that did not play well seeing him like he's just David beat Goliath he almost beat Goliath so he's gonna get a pat on the back but when our starting quarterback does it it's garbage time it's snap padding and he doesn't care and oh what was the narrative after the game from the ESPN morons or I don't know what group said that he was hurt and he just wanted out of the game because of the losing streak he's faking his injuries and that he's weak and he's letting his team down and then we find out it's torn out the bone that's the narrative about our quarterbacks it's wrong but hey...
I hope they beat the eagles but I'm really tired of the nonsense around here I have to come check people wake them up and I realize Cooper rush since 2017 somehow is being propped up like he's done something with his six and one record he's won six games in nine years and really his stat lines are pretty pathetic 58% completion percentage 5 touchdowns 3 interceptions 2 fumbles the 107 yards passing these are the reality if we had a defense step up and play like you're going to need to beat some of these teams with Cooper Russ if they do that for Prescott which they did when he came back in 2022 he immediately started dropping 30 point games where Cooper rush couldn't even get halfway there I want to keep the reality in here yes I hope to beat the eagles stranger things have happened but let's stop acting like this almost rush almost beat the eagles last time, really?

it's all in your line number one I'm coming at you because this almost saying you're giving a guy credit for a loss in which he threw 3 interceptions was a big part of the loss this doesn't happen with Prescott I'm not saying don't be supportive I'm saying that your perspective is skewed it's like you're wearing some kind of backup goggles you're giving him a moral victory where we don't give that for our regular quarterback that's the problem with your whole scenario it's line number one ruins the whole thing for me..Why are you coming at me with that? I've normally been very supportive of Dak and Romo. I have a long history of that. Why's it bad that I try to be supportive of most of not all Cowboys QBs? (Weeden and Cassell being notable exceptions haha)
Like every play, over time, teams will figure out how to best defend it. More teams are using a “tush push” kind of play, all teams are better at stopping it. The Eagles are a run first team. Teams that run tend to make less mistakes than teams that are more dependent on their pass offense. It wasn't so much that they did anything easily against Philly so much as they were able to make key stops on 4th down. Not to mention that they stopped the Tush Push a few times. I'm thinking the loss of Jason Kelce may be more significant than I thought prior to the season.
