I waited until we won before posting this

Truer words have never been spoken.
This is the truth.

The fact is since DAK and Zeke arrived..

it's become clear they are tied by embilical.

One will not succeed without the other.

Both have to be healthy and both contributing.

Zeke cannot carry us by himself..

and DAK cannot either.

So if this is going to go far..

we have to hope this continues.

He is also the one that didn't sign a number one receiver and hire Alexander as OL coach.....hmmmmmm
So would you rather him not admit a mistake and continue going down the same path or realize he made a mistake and fix it?

Jones made some good moves; jones’ homerism is also costing this organization more success. Him refusing to move on from Garrett and Linehan is very frustrating.

The lack of acumen on the offensive side of the ball with the coaches is astounding
I wanted Garrett fired but can't believe I'm saying this but the team respond to him. They don't quit on Garrett at all. That being said Linehan has to go, no question. Only way I'm ok with Garrett staying as coach is if they bring in another OC that calls plays from his playbook and bring in an established QB coach to help Dak.

I don't know about "most of us are out of our minds right now". Just too many Drama Queens.
Well..

Maybe.

But I have watched our team for over 50 years now.

And today I am pretty pleased.

This team is very different from the 2016 team.

That team cruised thru the season on offense and hemmorraged on defense.

They were very unproven.

We know what happened.

This team has had to fight and claw it's way to where they are.

Much more character to this team.

So I am optimistic.

Could not say that 8 weeks ago.

If you trade away a 1st round pick during the season, then you are saying you are ready to make a SB run. That you are 1 player away. You don't trade away a 1st round pick to "save the season" so you can win more games than you otherwise would have in the regular season. That is NOT very good personnel management.

Therefore. Anything less than at the very least an NFC championship appearance is a failure for this GM.

Another one and done would be a disaster.

Anyone disagree?

If Cooper were 29, I’d agree. But that trade was as much about the next 7 years as it was about 2018.

I am almost at the point where I could be ok with Garrett if they hired a Riley type for OC and Richard for DC, something along those lines

And long term he stuck with a player like Randy Gregory....paying dividends
Jerry has made a lot of mistakes but I posted earlier that when Gregory forced a fumble and Jalen scooped and scored he must have been the happiest person in the building

If he would have fired Linehan too then I would agree with you
He does that and who calls plays right in the middle of a Division Championship run.?

Duh..

Garrett?

Moore?

Callahan?

One more answer..

Jerrah.

Think about that before you wish for something.

Jerrah would be fun.

Maybe in the preseason next year we can let him coach from his box seat.

He does anyway.

Yes, I do. It will now be up to you to educate me nest year as to who would be better for Dallas that we didn't get with our #1 than Amari.

I will wait till next year for your answer!

Btw, I will say no one we would have picked in the late 20's was going to have a better year for us than Amari will for us next year and this year. So yeah, it was a great trade!

If you look at what has happened to the Cowboys' line (injuries, etc.) and where the team was at 3-5, Zeke should get major attention for MVP. Leads the NFL in yards from scrimmage and has a massive workload each and every week.

The problem is he won't get it because Patrick Mahomes has like 92 touchdown passes by now, and quarterbacks always get all the recognition.

Mahomes is getting popped right now by a run-dominated Seahawk team ... it's all relative from week to week.

Its actually the least optimistic Ive been since they made the playoffs since 2007. They've showed that cant put a complete game together if they had too.

As imperfect as they are..

I am still quite happy with this team for coming back from the dead.

It shows character.

So many want to scream about Linehan or DAK.

It's ridiculous.

It's about the team as a whole.

They have want to.

I will take that over a more talented team.

We shall see.

Well..

Jerrah has stated recently he is going for it all now.

I think the Cooper trade was brilliant.

If he had failed there and the Iggles had got him..

right now you would be screaming Jerrah screwed up.

He did not.

It was a wise decision.

Anybody who disagrees just has an agenda..

not objectivity.

Sorry.

All I'm saying is we don't know if it was a brilliant move or not yet.

But we will know. In about 2 or 3 weeks.

It's the same argument I use on people that say xy or z team had a great draft. How do you know? You really won't know that for a year or two down the road.

But people don't want to wait and see. They want to feel good right now. I'm under no such illusions.

Fine.

Enjoy your illusion.

Well I’ve waited till they won the division before posting this....what if they did win it all? What if this teams ugly irritating method of madness,is in a bizarre way the unseen reason why they win it? Could it be possible we somehow found the right wormhole by going through the wrong portal, and finally won by making the right failed plans? It is possible. I mean,we have been living in the middle of a Twilight Zone episode for 22 seasons of reruns,so anything is possible.

The Vikings did

He has more “work” to do as far as I’m concerned.
