I want to see less Murray

Murray is on pace to have over 400 rushes this year. To put that in perspective (something lacking in your post), in the last 5 years, only one player has carried the ball more than 350 times in a season. Last year, the league leader in carries had 314.

It clearly is not "special treatment" to limit his carries to the 300 range for the year. That means, on average, about 20 a game.

It's a thing called sample size, its only been 2 freaking games. Of course he isn't going to carry the ball anywhere near 400 times. My perspective was that 400 carries is ridiculous and not even worth discussing.

I don't see Murray avg 29 carries a game. I don't think Dallas will over work him but they will treat him for what he is and that is a featured back. I would say over the course of the season that avg will be closer to 22 carries than what he got this past game.

Perhaps he can carry that load. The guy is strong and elusive (when he wants to be). He's not trying to run everyone over this year. Just the ones that bring the iso challenge.. They feel the pain. Honestly.. I don't see any issues with him behind this gelling Oline at all this year. That said, I would prefer to mix in some Dunbar or Randle occasionally to spell him and keep defenses honest. I'm going to go ahead and just say Linahan has some tricks up his sleeve that he willl slowly reveal over time. Quite refreshing.

If Randle hadn't got that concussion he would have spelled Murray and stopping him from getting those 29 attempts vs the Titans.

It's football anyway. He has just as good of a chance of being hurt on his 1st carry as his 30th.

Think people are going a bit over board. Dallas ran him 29 times so what they are not going to run him 29 times a game. The situation dictated it, funny but had Dallas not continue to pound the ball late many of the same would be complaining about not running him. I like Dunbar but he is not a back you are going to grind it out to end a game. He is a change of pace but by the last 2 drive Tenn was loading up the box big time and Dallas ran it to win. Randle would have been a big help had he not gone down

I don't think anyone is complaining about running the ball 29x. The OP is just saying he wants to see a two headed monster handle most of that load...Demarco 20 carries, Randle 5-6 times and 2-3 times to Dunbar etc.

Like you said this would have probably happened had Randle not left.
