i hope "the statue" has another bad game because if he has 400 yds and 5 tds we are going to hear how great he is.....:jerk: hopefully the defense will score all our points...

Bledsoe will only get high praises when we beat a GOOD team.

Yeah imagine that, some might actually want the QB to have a good game.

some people amaze me. you want our qb to have a bad game so you can fullfil your romo fantasy.what a dumb idea. maybe we should just loose the rest of our games so we get a good draft pick too.or maybe the team plane crashes so we can get some new players.

Bledsoe will get high praise from those who don't really know the team that well or who are just trying to make this QB controversy go away.

Most of us expect him to play very well. A poor performance would be much more surprising than a 335-yard, 3-TD effort.

These are the games he's great at. If he'd play, say, at Philly like he likely will at home against Houston, he'd be a perinneal (sp?) Pro Bowler.

yeah its called an illusion, we beat the texans so what....parcells and his coaching along with bledsoe and his critical turnovers cant cover up the fact that we will go nowhere....ask the eagles

Wait a second. I don't fall in the "I want Bledsoe to play poorly crowd," but their rationale is not just to fulfill their "Romo fantasy," as you say.

Their fear is simple: Bledsoe has a proven track record of failure/mediocrity against good teams on the road. Their rationale is that every time Bledsoe plays well against a poor team, we're merely delaying the inevitable of a poor performance against a good team on the road.

Again, their thinking is why continue wasting away in this cycle? Romo may be a complete failure, but let's see what we've got in him. That grass-is-greener mentality suggests he might be a better option than Bledsoe in these tough games, no matter the unlikelihood of a first-year starter doing that.

It's no different than with Testaverde a few years ago, only Bledsoe is better and so is this team. But the thinking then was Testaverde will get us to 7-9 and no better. Let's see what we've got with the youth. The thinking now is Bledsoe will take us to the first round of the playoffs, if he even takes us that far. Why not see if the kid can take us a little further, is what they're saying.

Bingo...he will have a good game...why? Because we are not playing a good defense. That's where he racks up his stats.

The Giants game the next week...I give him a 50/50 chance because they are solid on defense, but this will be a pressure to win game, which could cause him to go in the tank.

But then again isn't this the point??? We pretty much know what we are going to get....which is not good enough to do anything in the playoffs. If we make them with him.

Does that include Bill Parcells? ;)

I think I may hire you to write my posts...very well said and pretty much how I feel.

You can add in there somewhere about the last game was the last straw and you got it 100% covered  .

I think the bottom line to remember in times like these is that we all ultimately want this team to have success. We just have different visions of how to get there.

When you see a Cowboys fan "wishing" for Bledsoe to have a bad game, I think it's important to keep that in mind. They're not feeling that way to purposely wish for the team's doom. They just think that, in a roundabout way, it'll be better for the team long term.
