Did you wear a Cowboys jersey? If not, why not? o_O Big ups to that brave young Cowboys fan!

I bet no matter how bad Wentz looked/has thrown in their camp, their iggles fans don't bash or throw their QB under the bus like ours do to ours.
If wentz comes out and sucks, they will be screaming Foles, Foles and boo Carson right off of the field. I bet Wentz starts in the season opener if not sooner.

You are exactly right, it's ridiculous how Cowboys fans bash Prescott.
Philly trashes their quarterback, routinely. They do tend to give a young quarterback time though before the claws come out. All Eagles fans I know love Wentz for his toughness, and ability to pull games out of his butt.

When the pressure was on Philly usually lost. McNabb's sphincter would tighten up.

I would love to go to a Steelers practice, in Pittsburgh. Philly is another story. It's a dirty dangerous city full of corrupt politicians, and panhandlers harassing you.

It really depends what area of the city you’re in. There are plenty of nice areas in Philly.

For one season, at least, they shook their tight sphincter syndrome.

yeah I know, shoot me....lol But my wife is a huge Eagles fan, she's from South Jersey and she got passes. The whole lower bowl of Lincoln Financial was full of fans. Anyways, Wentz doesn't look like he's starting the season. Their red zone session for the offense was horrible, Foles didn't practice and Wentz was off on a lot throws. Dallas Goddert looked pretty good for them though. I know it was practice, but I wasn't impressed. Those fools were chanting Dallas sucks out of the blue. It felt good to know we are always on their minds.

Then this is the best part of the whole Practice. A young guy, about 18-20 shows up in a Zeke Jersey halfway through their practice. They put him on the Jumbertron and those people lost their minds, Myself and my two sons(also cowboys fans) just looked at each other and said that guy is a savage because he gave it back to the whole crowd.

yeah Cowboys own real estate between the ears of eagle fans. lol

Interesting...
Going to watch Fiddler On the Roof tonight (Plaza Classic Film Fest is going on over here and I never miss it). otherwise I'm in the mood to give it a go.
I'd tried to watch that a few weeks ago when it aired on my T.V.,,,all I remember was an old man with a houseful of kids,,,,

I've only been to the inner city and hope I get out alive every time. There was a time many years ago, probably decades now where crime was frowned upon now it's embraced. It's not getting better it's getting worse. When new athletes come to town they get their homes in New Jersey.

It depends what you mean by “inner city”. Center city Philadelphia is fine. The great northeast is fine. There are areas in the north, and west and south that are very bad.

University city is fine, roxborough, manayunk, etc.

Yes there are some very rough, crime ridden neighborhoods. Buts it’s a large city. The same can be said for just about every major city in the world.

I used to go a long time ago with Eagle friends from the old KFFL board.
I would always wear my Cowboys cap.

They are fun people but back then miss led.

When I was at Temple, the Temple University police (actual fully sworn, armed police officers - not "campus cops") were the 2nd largest police force in the state of PA. Took a few years after I left for Pittsburgh to finally pass Temple to move into the #2 slot.

But yeah, there are isolated areas within the city that aren't bad at all.

Much of what you say is false. For example, overall crime is down in Philadelphia, not up or getting worse. For 2017, overall crime rates continued to trend down (including rapes, assaults, theft, etc) with the only crime up, being murders (which went from 277 to 310).

Also, some athletes actually live in Center City Philadelphia. A few athletes owned/rented condos in Liberty Two, a large office/residential condo building. A few Flyers lived in a condo building a few blocks away. Joel Embiid lives downtown Philly. Yes, some athletes live in the suburbs - either in PA or NJ - but the idea that Philly is this massively dangerous town that no athletes live in is erroneous.

Temple is in a tough neighborhood for sure.

Define fine? Fine in the daytime? Fine at night? I've been to several cities including New York 32 years ago, and Philly was the worst. Of course now there are several cities that are disaster areas, and getting worse thanks to elected officials mismanagement.

Temple is in a tough neighborhood for sure.

They bought a huge tract of land in Ambler, PA with the intention of moving to the suburbs so they could attract football players also. The city of Philadelphia gave them huge tax breaks to stay, so they never did. Biggest mistake they ever made - with the possible exception of giving Bill Cosby his Doctorate.
