If a SB win, would this be the best Cowboys team all time?

Its just a hypothetical for the fans that are about to say "lets win a playoff game first".
Nobody is saying the Cowboys will win the SB so chill yourselves out.

In a hypothetical situation if the cowboys won the SB this year, where would you rank this team amongst the other SB winning teams?

I for one would put this team higher based on the competition in the playoffs and a more difficult era of football compared to years past.

I know some might say well those cowboys teams had great competition but teams such as the 49ers and ravens today would have been super teams back in those days.

Yes there were some amazing defenses back then but do we really believe those team back then would have stood any chance in todays game? I dont.

Yes todays game is different and different era's yadda yadda, but based on difficulty of todays game and era, a cowboys SB win would imo rank them high.

I believe any team that can SB with the like a ravens and 9ers team lurking about should be considered a pretty damn good team for the 23-24 season, if a team other than the ravens or 9ers win the SB.

Will dallas win the SB? maybe not likely, but i just had an hypothetical brainstorm!
LOL.....you serious or on some of that good stuff?

It would be the most giddy I would be.... let's put it that way. It would be the most impressive accomplishment because 70s and 90s were dominated by 3 or 4 teams.

95 we won the Super Bowl when Packers upset the Niners. We owned the Packers.

93 the Niners were 10-6. We were the best team, clearly. In the 90s, the best team usually wins. Not like now where Giants can upset the Patriots, Jets can knock off the Patriots after losing 0-45 in the regular season, and the 14-2 Ravens go one and done.

77 Steelers were not that good. Beat the Rams, and you feel good about the Super Bowl. But we didn't even play the Rams.

78 and 79 Cowboys were the same. Beat the Rams, then the Steelers. We beat the Rams one of those years but not the Steelers. That's basically what it came down to.

In the 90s... it was beat San Francisco, and chances are we roll that weak AFC Conference.

In the 70s.... it's really just the Rams and Steelers.

Man I hate threads like this one. "So why reply" you wonder? Well because I wanna tell everyone that I hate stupid threads like this one.

A big NO is the answer. This team wouldn't even be allowed to take a crap next to the 92 guys.

Oh, and let's win a play off game first, ok? ;)

Dont even know if you can.. but I would change the headline.. lol... maybe where do they rank?

Im curious as to why you think todays NFL is more difficult.. you used to be allowed to actually hit people... the game was a lot more violent back in the day.

Oh good gawd, no.

The 92-93 Cowboys would beat this team by 40 points with the starters on the sideline in ballcaps in the 3rd quarter.

Today's NFL is massively inferior.

Just imagine this team trying to stop Emmitt Smith.
They would get embarrassed.

Uh no.. Those 49ers and Buffalo teams the Cowboys of the 90's had to go through were better than any team in this league right now. Hell the Green Bay teams they dismantled were probably better.
Not to mention the Eagles, Giants and Commanders teams we had to fight through to win the division.

Lol. Not even close… Parsons is getting worn out because of the double and triple teamed and being held with no calls. He is not the only player in the NFL. Our O-Line is not playing that well. Dak needs to actually take off more.. It confuses defenses. We have not much of a run game. Teams are running all over us..Look at the last 3 games.

We get into the playoffs and we will see teams running 60% of the time if they can.. It will come down to coaching and MM is not a clock manager. Someone needs to take that over…
