If a SB win, would this be the best Cowboys team all time?

Its just a hypothetical for the fans that are about to say "lets win a playoff game first".
Nobody is saying the Cowboys will win the SB so chill yourselves out.

In a hypothetical situation if the cowboys won the SB this year, where would you rank this team amongst the other SB winning teams?

I for one would put this team higher based on the competition in the playoffs and a more difficult era of football compared to years past.

I know some might say well those cowboys teams had great competition but teams such as the 49ers and ravens today would have been super teams back in those days.

Yes there were some amazing defenses back then but do we really believe those team back then would have stood any chance in todays game? I dont.

Yes todays game is different and different era's yadda yadda, but based on difficulty of todays game and era, a cowboys SB win would imo rank them high.

I believe any team that can SB with the like a ravens and 9ers team lurking about should be considered a pretty damn good team for the 23-24 season, if a team other than the ravens or 9ers win the SB.

Will dallas win the SB? maybe not likely, but i just had an hypothetical brainstorm!
That would be an amazing accomplishment, and they would be the best team for this year, but I can't say they would be superior to those 90s teams. It's also hard to compare them to the Landry teams of the 70s that had superb defenses because the game has changed so much since then, and linemen have gotten way bigger.

I would love to see the 2023 team win a SB. But even if they do this team isn’t close to any of great teams of the past. And I’m not one who is stuck in the past. Just being honest. Those teams of the 70s and 90s were some of the best teams in NFL history.

No not even close. This would be the worst out of the 6.

I think 4 maybe...tsmith,martin, Parsons,diggs
Lamb would start. That would be incredible opposite Irvin. Maybe the kicker and punter. I don't remember the how good Elliott and Saxon were (was that the punter and kicker?)

2014 and 2016 teams, if they had a better defense, were closer.
Especially the 2014 team, the defence got much better when we signed Ro Mac..that team got robbed and it would beat this defence bad with Murray and a young, Smith, Frederick, and martin,in prime Romo and DEZ.

You are correct,Saxon was damn good..for that team, lamb would be no 3 behind Irvin and Harper, don't discount how good Harper was.

I think the most dominant Cowboys team was 1977. The team with the toughest path, it would be hard to beat the 1992 team. But this year might end up being the closest to that. Might even be going through the same playoff teams +1.

I would call it the biggest upset of any of the 6 Super Bowls, but that's also saying this was the worst team that won a Super Bowl of the 6.

This team would get destroyed by the Ravens.
I think we'd probably lose the game, and the Ravens are crazy hot right now, but Lamar is averaging 1.33 TDs per game and that's after a 5 TD game INCREASED his TDs per game. I have a feeling the Ravens are not going to win the Super Bowl.

If dak had to face,79,54,75,72... he'd quit...lol
the only two lineman who could compete with those guys are tyron smith and martin. those guys would manhandle our center and steele and not even break a sweat.
